What is a woman? ♀️ Mainstream progressive politics seek to redefine the word ‘woman’ to include males. This dangerous erosion of women’s legal status threatens women and girls' hard-won rights, safety, and boundaries at a time when they are needed MORE than ever. WomensRights #FreeSpeech

Thank you for sharing, LunarMoose!

How/why did WoLF choose the City of Manchester, NH? The location was primarily decided in collaboration with an enthusiastic WoLF supporter who contacted us with the idea of putting up a billboard in the most populous NH city, Manchester. This volunteer had already connected with an ad company willing to host the definition of “Women” despite the expected backlash. Plus, this local volunteer plans to visit the site and take pictures of the billboard project.

Geographically, it is an hour from Harvard University in MA, a gender ideology and 'cancel culture' stronghold that recently canceled WoLF board member Devin Buckley, PhD over her feminist views. (To any radical feminists in the Cambridge, MA area—We invite you to become a volunteer and help coordinate another "Women = Adult Human Females" billboard!)

If there is enough interest and support, the WoLF Team would like to put up billboards in additional cities across the U.S.!

Why June? During Pride month, Manchester's Queen City Pride Parade is taking place on June 18. As a radical feminist organization, we believe this common-sense message stands in solidarity with lesbians; same-sex attracted human females. In addition to recruiting supporters, it is our hope that TRAs will further boost this message online.

Why is WoLF using GiveSendGo? WoLF is a nonpartisan women-focused nonprofit without a religious affiliation. However, our nonprofit organization is subject to ‘cancelation’ from mainstream progressive platforms for our rejection of “gender identity” and the legalization of commercial sexual exploitation industries (e.g., prostitution, pornography, etc.).

Nonprofits often use crowdfunding sites to generate grassroots support for specific projects and initiatives in engaging ways that are not offered through standard donation pages, e.g., Givebutter. This past March, WoLF launched a Givebutter fundraising campaign as a verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit fundraising for our policy advocacy efforts across U.S. federal agencies and fifty state legislatures. Three days later, Givebutter suspended our fundraiser without warning and gave our coordinator just 24-hours notice to delete our account without an option to dispute. Thus, WoLF has elected to crowdfund on GiveSendGo to support this urgent, pro-woman advocacy.

If you would like to bypass GiveSendGo: You can donate on our standard donation page here and email the receipt to <Development@WomensLiberationFront.org> with the message "for the NH/Women billboard."

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Hannah at Development@WomensLiberationFront.org. Thank you all for your support!

I'll pitch in. Any reason why they chose NH specifically?

in downtown New Hampshire!

But... New Hampshire isn't a city? Does this mean downtown Nashua (inferred from 'an hour from Boston/Cambridge')?

I wish I knew! I don't. But if I were to guess, there is no way that sign would stay up in MA (and it would be super expensive). NH is slightly less expensive (for a billboard) and my sense is that it will stay up (and create the right amount of controversy).

I've asked to where it will go (if possible, I want to do a drive by :)

People make fun of me for being skeptical WoLF's motives, and then they do weird sketchy shit like this. "downtown New Hampshire" wtf?? And why is it on a Christian fundraising site????

idunno but I'm guessing Gofundme may be captured and would cancel "twansfobic" crowdfunders?

It's because they keep getting banned on more secular platforms. GoFundMe has banned all GC content, and last time they used GiveButter and got banned.

I reposted this in activism (per the suggestion in the other thread).

I want it to succeed :)

I give money to WoLF and wouldn’t mind supporting their billboard (although I also find the Christian fundraising site and “downtown New Hampshire” to be sketch). But I think TRAs have co-opted “female” as well as “women” so that this is not the most effective message.

I don't speak for WOLF, I'm just a person who wants to help. But (and this is just me being chatty), I'm kind of a utilitarian person. I don't mind pitching in a few dollars and seeing what happens. NH is more of a swing state. It's close to the hotbed of trans-activism (tons of MA workers live in NH and commute every day). Wherever they put that sign - it will be seen by many. There is no way it will go unnoticed.

So, it's worth it to me to see what happens. I'm sure it will attract some press and some protest. That's all I want. (Well, not all I want - but enough for me to think that it's worth it to chip in to help).

Everyone has to figure out their own path forward - and do something to stop what is happening.

I suggest not giving any money to "givesendgo", a Christian anti-choice organization. (A fraction of all donations goes to the host website.)

I wonder why a supposedly pro-woman organization would be feeding money to an organization like that?

Most other platforms have banned gc fundraising

ETA you can support WOLF directly through their website 👍

Reproductive rights is the #1 core requirement of "women's liberation".... kind of seems like any organization who wants to achieve "women's liberation" shouldn't give a single penny to anti-choice groups. It's not that hard to set up your own fundraising site.

If it's so easy, maybe you can offer to help them then.

Last time they tried to do a fundraising drive they got banned from the fundraising site they used. It is definitely slim pickings out there if you want to use something ready made to generate interest and activity on the fundraising side.
