I found a link to this free epub somewhere on radblr, I think. It can be downloaded legally and free here: https://doi.org/10.1007/978-981-15-0614-7
I started reading it and...
Beauty in Blood asserts that menstruation needs to be seen to help normalize the menstruating body and to acknowledge this part of the menstruator’s life experience by inviting the viewer to take a closer look and reflect on their personal gut reactions to the subject of “menstruation.”
And to be honest, I don't want to read any further.
Has anybody else here read this book? Should I take a closer look and ignore my personal gut reaction upon reading the first few pages?
Thanks for your input!
Some of the chapters look interesting enough, but I have a feeling that they won't contain any new information, anything that women haven't already been talking about for ages. Your comment on endo confirms my suspicions.
So I'll pass on this one, for now at least.
