Sheila is one of my favorite feminist authors if not the one. I see several of her books brought up here but has anyone read the Beauty and Mysogyny? I was introduced to it by following the Korean "tal corset" 4b6t movement, it seems to be one of the most prominent works to the Korean lesbian feminists. Please share your thoughts if you have read it.

I have started it. It is tough going a it makes me rethink everything. I have a toddler and dealing with emotional dysregulation so I'm not at the level of regular feminist theory just yet. In the meantime I'm growing out my body hair and working through my, and my sister's, feelings of discomfort with it. Interesting process! 😂

Good luck! This book inspired me to stop shaving and wearing make-up. It took me years to feel comfortable just existing in my natural body. But I like to think about all the time and money I save. It’s good motivation.
