Pretty much exactly what the title says; I'm looking for anime games where the female characters aren't overly sexualised. Taking from my comment in this post, I avoid anime games on principle due to how many treat their female characters as little more than sex objects. However, I am willing (and encouraged) to be proven wrong.

So by anime games, I am referring to any game of any genre that has an anime art style and/or originated from an east Asian country (so Japan, China, or South Korea). Mods of games that desexualise the content (if those even exist) are also allowed.

This can also be a general discussion on anime games as a whole. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the latest JRPG, for example, whether you liked it or not :)

Does ni no kuni count? It's graphics are very ghibli so no sexualisation of female characters, the story is amazing and I really love the combat system. I 100% recommend them. They are also often on sale. The first one for 9.99 and the second for 17.99. That is quite a difference to the original 59.99

Also okami. There is one.. strange looking female character but other than that it has no sexualisation. The main character is a female dog/ goddess and story and gameplay are wonderful and unique

The creators of Ni No Kuni made the Dark Cloud series. Ni No Kuni gameplay draws heavily from it, the second game was my favorite back in the day. Also innocent and not sexualized anime game.

I really wish Dark Cloud would make a come back. I used to LOVE rearranging the village layouts in the first two games

If you haven't played Ni No Kuni, do it! There were so many similar gameplay elements, particularly in 2. 1 and 2 are so different and enjoyable in their own way, but I think I prefer 2 more because of the similarities to Dark Cloud.
