Pretty much exactly what the title says; I'm looking for anime games where the female characters aren't overly sexualised. Taking from my comment in this post, I avoid anime games on principle due to how many treat their female characters as little more than sex objects. However, I am willing (and encouraged) to be proven wrong.
So by anime games, I am referring to any game of any genre that has an anime art style and/or originated from an east Asian country (so Japan, China, or South Korea). Mods of games that desexualise the content (if those even exist) are also allowed.
This can also be a general discussion on anime games as a whole. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the latest JRPG, for example, whether you liked it or not :)
Ahh you and I have very different tastes but I totally appreciate you writing this out for me. You are correct I absolutely hate the genre of "cute girls doing cute things" because it's male gazey and not at all how girls act. It's some weird fantasy and I think it fuels TIMs. I miss real shoujo like Skip Beat, Full Moon wo Sagashite and Nana.
I liked Little Witch academia the OVA but got quite bored with the anime and didn't finish.
I have watched In this corner of the world and I had the same thoughts as you.
