Pretty much exactly what the title says; I'm looking for anime games where the female characters aren't overly sexualised. Taking from my comment in this post, I avoid anime games on principle due to how many treat their female characters as little more than sex objects. However, I am willing (and encouraged) to be proven wrong.
So by anime games, I am referring to any game of any genre that has an anime art style and/or originated from an east Asian country (so Japan, China, or South Korea). Mods of games that desexualise the content (if those even exist) are also allowed.
This can also be a general discussion on anime games as a whole. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the latest JRPG, for example, whether you liked it or not :)
I'm pretty fond of Heartbeat, which is a charming little RPGmaker game that clearly draws inspiration from JRPGs and Pokemon. The gameplay is somewhat repetitive, but the plot and endearing all-female cast got me through the grind. I bought it because it got review-bombed for the developers' girlfriend being an outspoken TERF, but I ended up putting way more hours into it than I expected.
