Of course sense Jill doesn't want to anger TRAS she won't mention this...but the whole non binary thing is also a complete backlash to feminism. Why don't so many girls and women not want to be girls and women? Because of this shit! When I hear that women really do want to be treated like sex objects and that we don't want to be ambitious or smart...it seriously makes ME not want to be a woman. I know i am a woman....but if 13 year old me was given an option to grow into a woman or be a boy or non binary...I would have chosen that.

The other thing about Insta and TikTok "bimbofication" profiles is that TONS of the "bimbos" are TIMs.

This shouldn't surprise anybody, of course.

First and foremost, bimbofication is a specific niche👀 fetish👀 that leans heavily on superficial visuals👀 that violate natural proportion👀 and are alws stark/unsubtle👀
... where each "👀" marks something that, even all by itself, is already a highly reliable indicator that something is going to be an exclusively (FAPP) male area of interest. And there are FIVE 👀's on that description, sooooo... anyone who can't see how the bimbo aesthetic attracts TIMs just isn't paying attention.

On top of... This may sound ironic at first brush, but, "bimbofication" is much, much, MUCH more TIM-friendly as a realistically achievable look than just about any cohesive Female aesthetic that exists.
It's like... how do I explain it... an exact opposite of what you might call ingénue fashion with loose flowy shapeless sundresses and other Free People type clothes, which makes ALL male people look completely stupid and ridiculous if they try to wear it.
Which happens because the ingénue look is, simplistically, just unstructured clothing—like the apparel equivalent of wearing zero make-up—and relies wholly and utterly on the wearer's unretouched silhouette.

The bimbo look, on the other hand, is fake in absolutely all particulars, and is over-structured all the way to hell and back, to such an extent that it practically erases the relevance of being either male or female to begin with... Both sexes have to doll themselves up beyond any simple recognition of their birthday suits as it were.

and last but not least, the "bimbofied" make-up aesthetic, which fronts things like harsh contouring and neon colors, is also surprisingly male-friendly. The harsh contouring, in fact—like Kim K style contour but much more far gone—is, and has alws been, primarily an effort to simulate a more "chiseled" face with "higher cheekbones", which are of course archetypally male facial structures (among Female people these normally belong to those with unusually higher testosterone and lower estrogen levels than average, such as high-fashion and runway models).
Finally—from the Dept. of Shit That Seems Really Obvious Once Somebody Else Says It—bimbo makeup is thick enough that TIMs (or even just boys who don't "identify as" anything other than boys and are mostly just fucking around) can wear the look for a whole day without 5:00 shadow starting to stab through it. 🤪

Second, the TIM bimbo profiles publish a lot more content—usually ALL of theirs—in front of subscription paywalls.
Female bimbofication profiles are alws, alws, alws, ALWAYS (attempted) revenue generators—freelance work, pretty much—so they rarely publish more than intermittent teaser content on public profiles; their real content is behind a subscriptionwall.

I know two young Women who have profitable IG bimbo profiles.
One publishes in small volume and makes a small stream of play money, but is on track to other eventual job plans.

The other one, who has alws kinda just been a party girl, has leveraged the bimbofication thing into an actual modeling career (not porn, not "glamour" modeling—she's mostly a convention booth babe, product demo girl, etc. across a few industries that are overwhelmingly blue-collar and male. If you're Gen X or older, think about those calendars that power-tool ccmpanies used to publish, with Women in their twenties and thirties in little brazilian bikinis, and/or scissored-off white T-shirts knotted under their boobs (or scissored up higher to show that weeeeeirdddd bottomboob) and denim cutoffs BECAUSE '80'S; that's exactly the industry segment that gives her most of her work.)

This young Woman is making a 6-figure (in U.S. dollars) income per year. Lower-6-figures but also comfortably into that 6-figure range (i.e., not just a few bucks over $100k).
She's all of 22, and bluntly admits that her earning potential in "normal" work is never gonna be that great because, after a year or two, it'll get too hard for her to keep showing up every day, let alone on time every day... but she's doing this, and squirreling away most of what she makes. Good for her, I say, TBH.

It wasn't too long ago, actually, that I was at her housewarming. She's been working mostly in Las Vegas (where there are HUGE blue-collar industry trade shows almost every single week of the year; just for fun, check out the Las Vegas LVCVB convention calendar, with approximate numbers of attendees, sometime—you may be shocked at the huge numbers of people at the trade shows of some industries whose existence you never even knew of before seeing the list) since she was 18, but spent three years just commuting back and forth from the Long Beach airport—which incidentally is "LGB", a fact I'm guessing will be appreciated around here—because almost her entire family lives within the same couple square miles here, but also because trying to have a social life in Las Vegas before you turn 21 is a fool's game.

Her new place is beautiful... 45th floor highrise apartment with two walls made entirely of windows, looking out over the mountains, in the entertaining area. True to form, there's exactly one bedroom that BLINDS you with hot pink-ness when you first open the door😂 but she's decorated the rest of the place (or had it decorated; i didn't ask and idk) in a tastefully understated kind of way. Together with the secret-but-really-unsecret blindingly neon bedroom, the whole place is exactly what Finnish people would call oman näköisensä paikka, "a place that looks like [her]self".

This friend has breast implants, and she's had some minor lipo-sculpturing and self-fat transfers around her midriff to hip area, but she's... almost disarmingly all-business about those things (and, importantly, doesn't seem invested all that much one way or the other in cultivating one or the other body aesthetic—she REALLY IS totally fine either way, which I don't think is a very common mindset, esp not at her age).

The plastic surgery (and occasional lip-filler injections, but those get absorbed and excreted by the body within 6-9 months so there's no long-term implications of those) is literally all just business expenses to my friend. She has so few fucks to give on any side of the issue—like, not only is she kinda "meh" about this look vs. natural body silhouette (although she says she'll downsize the boobs, or even have the implants removed entirely, in 10-20 years), but she just floats above any and all debates about plastic surgery as a good or bad thing to do, or whether it's exploitative or not, or whether it's feminism-compatible or not. She Just. Does. Not. Care. to such an extent that i can't help laughing out loud at it whenever I talk to her.

Fuck bimbofication and fuck Clintonian girlboss culture. The backlash is shaped by capitalism: men can’t be Don Draper anymore because (for the most part) work doesn’t pay like that anymore. Women are supposed to melt ourselves down to fill in all the gaps in men’s souls, which, no thank you. But the answer is not to go back to girlboss culture.

but bimbo latterly means attractive but think as a brick, is it another word thats lost it's meaning? why would anyone want to be seen as not having 2 brain cells to rub together.

That was one of the most nonsensical things I've ever read.

I'd like to emphasize that words mean things, except now they don't.
