I'm so incredibly sick of hearing people use "he" for TIFs, it's not funny. Just because you take hormones and grow a beard you have not escaped your birth sex. You are forever a woman and you can't betray your sex class like that.

I absolutely can't stand the "famous" TIFs on youtube like Sam, Ryan, and Calvin because the way they talk about themselves and other women is enraging. This isn't about how they look, most of them can easily look/sound like men to me but their behavior "triggers" me to no end.

I didn't even go watch them, they just pop up on places like Twitter because they will absolutely just die if they don't have attention for 2 seconds. They've brainwashed themselves into thinking they can 100% by men (and in the case of Jaime, be 100% a man and proud of her period), and they feed this lie to their audiences. I just wish they would mind their own business like they're always saying they do.

Edit: auto correct messed me up lol

Interesting that they pass a lot more than TIMs do. I guess testosterone is like a one way road. Makes sense, cause like, all humans start as female fetuses and then morph into male or not.

Yeah, detrans males can mostly go back to normal if they didn't have any extreme surgeries, TIFs are stuck like that forever unfortunately, testosterone cannot be undone. That's why we can never share sports categories with any of these groups.

It really fucking sucks. Males can detransition fairly easily as long as they didn't take Estrogen for too long and didn't have major surgery. But females suffer permanent damage after only a few shots of testosterone. And, to add insult to injury, taking testosterone young doesn't help them become more passible because their growth and development is stunted. So they don't even get the ONE purported advantage!

Zygotes are sexed, humans do not start as females. That is a pseudoscientific idea.

I think there is a fairly simple answer: males have a greater range of heights/appearance, and baldness and beardedness are tightly associated with males and not females. The female distribution is narrower.

It's not crazy to see a man at an average woman height (or shorter), it's rarer to see a woman at the height of (or taller) than an average man. Not crazy to see a man with "softer" facial features, rare to see a women with a "chiseled" face. Beard and or bald read immediately as male (though lots of males that are not bearded or bald), very few women with full beards or baldness.

Oh it absolutely is, it's far more detrimental to females than estrogen is to males. Apparently the testosterone shots tifs take are very painful, and some use topical "T-gel", which can contaminate others and make other people, especially women and children, very ill.

it is so sickening how readily T is prescribed to young women. When I was in a phase of gender confusion, my therapist encouraged me to just go on T and try it out. Despite knowing I have a history of body dysmorphia, had anorexia, struggled with self-harm and depression and currently was not in a great mental state. She also knew I currently had a lot of internalized misogyny and homophobia. I told her I wasn't sure about some of the permanent side effects of it and said I'm unsure if if its the right choice because of my other issues going on (hoping she'd question if I'm trans or if its the IM or body issues making me dysphoric), but she completely dismissed my concerns and continued to tell me I should go on, saying 'its like birth control, if you don't like some of the side effects you can just stop."

Well I went to the place that prescribes T, and they didn't ask me a single question about my history or mental health. The "doctor' didn't even know what the term non-binary meant when I said that's what I was. They didn't ask me anything, didn't tell me about any of the side effects...just said I should take a blood test and I can start T the next visit.

Thank god I listened to my gut and didn't go back there. It's absolutely sickening how T is glorified and pushed on vulnerable young women. How the side effects are completely downplayed. In the butch lesbian community, it's almost become the normal butch experience to have dysphoria and be thinking about or going on T and getting double mastectomy and hystos. It's incredibly sad and so many young women are confused and are permanently damaging their health because of this.

Of course the only "medicine" that can be offered to women without barriers is one that harms us. Of fucking course they have no problem poisoning us, but God forbid you need actual treatment, like good therapy and medical care.

Side effects like permanent hair growth on your face, permanent balding, etc. Small side effects like those. I am just unlucky enough to have dark, coarse hairs growing on my upper lip and chin and it sucks trying to remove it. Those suckers have survived both the laser and electrolysis. Dealing with them is a giant pain in the ass.

Good Lord....

I've worked in pharmacy. She was straight up fucking LYING to you! I wouldn't even be that flippant about normal birth control, to be honest.

I knew a lot of butch lesbians through my aunt as a kid and I always thought they were so cool. And I hate how genderwoo is turning them into an endangered species (while the so called "LGBT" community cheers it on)

Yeah, the mood swings and acne and metabolism shifts, and everything is very aggressive

Makes me think of that KOTH episode where Peggy started putting testosterone into Hank's food and drinks and he started acting like a teenager.

There was an episode of House about this. Just putting it out there.

all humans start as female fetuses and then morph into male or not.

This is not true. Please don't spread misinformation.

I might have worded that wrong... or like... understand biology wrong. But I remember that until some point fetuses develop the same, then if it's male the genitals kinda morph into male.

You seem to have a couple of things wrong. First, you are speaking of as though human offspring start out as fetuses. When in fact, human offspring begin as blastocysts, then they become embryos, and then they become fetuses.

Second, you are confusing being at a rudimentary state of development with being female. Human embryos in which gonads and urogenital anatomy have not yet developed so that they look obviously male or female in photos, on or on scans or IRL are still either male or female in myriad ways not evident to the eye.

Embryos and early-stage fetuses in which the urogenital anatomy appears undifferentiated are not all female. Undifferentiated is not the same as female.

A male who has not yet developed a penis, male urethra and prostate - and whose testes have not yet descended yet - is not the same as a female. The kind of thinking you are engaging in equates female with absence of a dick and fully descended testicles.

Sex differences in human blastocyst cells have been observed just a few days after fertilization when the blastocyst is implanting in the uterine wall and begins growing the placenta.

Sex is determined at conception. If a fetus is XY it isn't female.

Well yeah, but I mean like, how until certain point they develop the same and then morph into male or not. Especially genitals, you know.

Yeah it's the first 2 weeks of gestation, and that's really pre-fetal stage so that's why you wouldn't say a fetus starts out female but becomes male, it's more that in the very beginning of a pregnancy, the SRY gene is either present or not, and if it is, it takes about 2 weeks to "switch on" if that makes sense. This is still indicative of female as the default, though.

Women are the starting point. Testosterone is a very strong hormone.

They go through male puberty and then convince themselves that actually makes them male lol

Edit: I know the technical definition of puberty is: the period during which adolescents reach sexual maturity and become capable of reproduction.

But I have no way to easily talk about the hormonal changes without using that word

They go through male puberty

No they really don't. They experience endocrine disruption and develop some secondary sex characteristics usually associated with the male sex. But they don't go through male puberty.

puberty is a neuroendocrine transformation in the processes that regulate reproductive physiology. This transformation arises... from physiological mechanisms that are already latent in the prepubertal child...

Puberty in humans is defined as the period of first becoming capable of reproducing, and is marked by maturation of the genital organs, development of secondary sex characteristics, acceleration in growth, changes in affect and, in the female, the occurrence of menarche.

In humans, the transition into puberty is driven by two physiologic processes: gonadarche and adrenarche.

Gonadarche comprises growth and maturation of the gonads and is associated with increased secretion of sex steroids and with the initiation of folliculogenesis and ovulation in the female and spermatogenesis in the male. Gonadarche leads to thelarche and menarche in girls and testicular enlargement in boys.

Adrenarche, which typically precedes gonadarche,2 comprises maturation of the adrenal cortex associated with increased secretion of adrenal androgens—namely, dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS), and androstenedione—and leads to the appearance of sexual hair (pubarche). Adrenarche late in prepubertal development appears to be peculiar to our own species and to the great apes and, in humans, the absence of adrenarche does not prevent gonadarche or the attainment of fertility.

Eh, I don't really think women injecting testosterone can be called male puberty... or any puberty. Really nasty when transes say they're going through their "second puberty"...

It taxes their bodies in a way similar to puberty, and they get all the things like acne and mood swings that accompany puberty. Although of course it's scientifically incorrect to call it that.

Its essentially what's happening, I agree that it's cringy but that's what's happening - albeit in a very unnatural, uncomfortable way. Listen to Ellen Page's new interview. A 35-year-old woman with a 12-year-old boy's voice.

yeah, they are truly brainwashed tp believe they aren't women and going on testosterone and the physical changes just reinforces those feelings. Which is sad because I'd imagine it makes it harder for them to realize they are and detransition when they begin passing really well as male. It really is all stereotypes and appearances for them. A lot of them not only have internalized misogyny, but also blatant outward misogyny toward women.

Yup. This is what I have seen. Hatred of the female body and of the people who have it, and a desire to leave that group by transitioning.
