"I just don't trust the trans movement anymore. I don't know if all trans men and women feel this way, but this has dangerously got close to boundary pushing of body and sexual autonomy. This is where I draw the line."

"I started off being very sympathetic to the trans movement, but have increasingly had it with males claiming they're females and dictating to me what I can think, what I can say, what I can find attractive. It's especially puzzling when it's some "pre-everything!" 16 year old explaining what it means to be a woman to me."

" I think a lot of that hate comes from trans women who are middle age men, usually white, who are very poorly transitioning, either because they do not pass no matter how much froufrou they make, or because they are not able to afford or willing to undergo full surgery to align their gender. They are angry and still deeply hurt and find relief in their misery in blaming cis lesbians who are not romantically interested in them (and cis straight women who used to date them as men but break it off or are repulsed when they start cross-dressing)."

"they included transwomen and in fact banned any gender critical or transphobic posts, but that still wasn't enough lol. reddit continues to ban and censor literally any group that's focused on women in any way (other than porn of course), and I don't think they realize it's backfiring because people are starting to notice how ridiculous it is & how they're hiding the misogyny of it behind "inclusivity and validation!"

"It's all "leave us alone 😭😭 we want BasiC HumAn RigHts" until we actually do and make our own space, then it's LITERALLY killing the transwomen. Women wanting to gather with other women is, by definition, the worst kind of discrimination, because it excludes men. That’s all there is to it.

It's just the new brand of patriarchy. Women centered existence is in opposition to patriarchal society. They insist on the systemic failure of The Bechdel test.

It has always been this way. Women threaten weak men.

Men in dresses are the worst kind of oppressors.

I started off being very sympathetic to the trans movement, but have increasingly had it with males claiming they're females and dictating to me what I can think, what I can say, what I can find attractive.

I guess this was how it went for me too: obviously trans people also deserve basic human rights. But too quickly it became apparent that a lot of it wasn't about human rights, but a-fucking-gain about making life as shitty as possible for women. Or, rather, keeping men in power. Men will throw anyone to the curb for the sake of "men" maintaining power.

I had no problem with trans people until I found out they were claiming 'transwomen are women' and literally meaning it, as if males could become females, denying basic fucking reality.

Yeah. And then I went from "I can sympathize" to "fuck them" in like 2 seconds flat! 😁

This flipped my trigger too. I still can’t believe ANYONE accepts this.

Yep, I'd say a solid majority of us are former "allies"/handmaidens. I remember a long time ago "transsexual" was a tiny minority of people, mostly HSTS, that generally posed little threat to women, who were bullied for not fitting gender roles. Supporting them having equal work and housing opportunities was a no brainer.

At some point (5-10 years ago?) though, it stopped being about those people and started being a fetish club/men's rights movement. The sad truth is there are way more men with fetishes than there are people with crippling gender dysphoria (and tbh I'm not entirely sure how to detangle that kind of gender dysphoria from internalized homophobia anyway...).

In the past year or two the fetish/MRA stuff has been hyper accelerated and more and more people are peaking.Basically the more you learn the worse it gets.

What really blows my mind is how often blatant lies are pushed across as fact (puberty blockers are reversible! trans women are murdered all the time! men with low T levels are the athletic equivalent of women!). Once you learn that the whole thing is a house of cards built of lies then you can never un-learn that.

I can confirm that I was a former ally. Was super into r/conspiracy years ago, god knows why, and I would always argue with people about trans rights and how transphobic some of the posts were.

And then the veil lifted, and it turns out the people I was trying to defend aren't a marginalized group of people simply born into the wrong body, but are men with AGP trying to push their fetishes onto women and children. They make a joke about what being a woman is like, basically reducing it down to 'UwU boobies dress go spinny'.

I can't believe where we are at the moment. For lesbians to be allowed any kind of platform, they have to pretend they worship dick and have always loved it. And this is considered progressive!

It's regressive, homophobic bullshit trying to disguise itself in a flag.

Can someone still on Reddit invite these lovely people here? :D

i left a comment saying that i could give out codes for those interested! ...and then reddit banned my account for three days for transphobic crimes womp womp

as soon as that ban's over tho i'll be back to spreading the tervery🥰

If anyone needs more codes, I haven't used mine yet! DM me if you do.

Jesus, they banned you for offering codes?

they banned me for remaking an account to avoid a ban ???? even tho that definitely didn't happen lmao ... puts on tinfoil hat

Agreed. These ladies need access to a lesbian space where dick isn't the subject of every conversation.

this one is long, but i couldn't bring myself to cut out any part of it, because it's actually perfect.

I had no problem with trans activism until it became about infringing on and violating the rights of others. It isn't going to stop until more people get vocal about not buying into their bullshit anymore. There is absolutely no reason to revoke the basic rights of others, particularly marginalized groups, in order to gain rights for yourself. Trans doesn't become more valid by invalidating everyone else. Trans people just trying to live their lives without fear and with acceptance are also hurt by these "activists" and their abusive methods. Yes, abusive.

Telling lesbians that they have to have sex with penises if they don't want to be labeled as transphobic and "Nazis" is fetishized abuse. Removing spaces for people to speak to each other is abuse. Threatening to commit suicide or self harm when you don't get your way is manipulation and abuse. Period. These methods are terroristic and typical of oppressive political regimes, men's rights activists and other militant misogynists, and are not how legitimate human rights activists operate.

For anybody on the fence about this because you personally haven't been attacked by the mob yet, just know that anyone pushing an oppressive agenda doesn't just stop. It keeps going until everyone has been assimilated or silenced. Your day is coming when you will say something "wrong" and then you are the enemy, too.

I hate having to sound like some crazy YT conspiracy asshole, but these are bad times that we're living in.

That was me. I'm waiting for my ban but fuck Reddit, it needed to be said. I'm amazed I haven't gotten any hate yet, actually.

Sorry about the length, I notice I always post/comment whole dissertations lol

lmfao absolute legend. and don't apologize! sometimes 240 characters just doesn't cut it, especially when you're making important points

The mask is coming off before people's very eyes. Well done, trans activists. You played yourselves.

Ironically, they’ve just managed to push many people over the edge towards, “peak Trans”

And sometimes, for platforms like Reddit (male dominated anyways) — I wonder if forcing women to leave in droves while also shaming them for being women wasn’t part of the plan... or maybe that was just a perk of pushing all this stuff to such extremes!

What’s next, women being effectively banned from Hacker News?

It wouldn't surprise me at all. I think Reddit probably makes the majority of their ad dollars off of all the porn subs at this point. Especially with Tumblr no longer being competition for that content & PornHub now appearing to possibly bite the dust. They know men are the primary consumers driving that traffic. The less uppity women around to attempt to hold them responsible for their hypocritical rule enforcement, the better for them. & whichever group of women stay (i.e. that abide by reddit's enforcement of male supremacy) will be comprised of a bigger and bigger percent of 'pick-me', pornsick and 'handmaiden' type women that won't raise a fuss and will keep feeding new content to porn subs that rely on user submitted OC.

When in doubt, remember - men almost always protect other men before they would a woman. The lengths I've seen them go to protect total objectively pieces of shit like rapists and murderers..

Showing my brother the straight men that appeared on "lesbian" tinder - straight men who called themselves "bull dykes" - was what finally made my brother understand why this issue bothered me so much. Men who aren't total pieces of trash will see through that immediately and not defend it.

-Men who aren't total pieces of trash will see through that immediately and not defend it.

Yes, this is true. These are also the same men who don't get offended by any criticism of abusive men because they know they aren't abusive and this not being criticized. They do exist, and they tend to not be on platforms like Reddit.

reddit continues to ban and censor literally any group that's focused on women in any way (other than porn of course)

yep
