I just checked his Twitter and it's filled with disgusting hentai and pornography. I'm shocked he's still able to walk around, even more shocked that the cops were distressed about the group misgendering him. And the parents at the park filled with children protecting a literal pedophile, IDIOTS.

Reduxx needs to name names at the Berkeley police department. Also, what does “suggested the matter was still under investigation” mean? Reduxx should clarify whether the Berkeley police dept is required to confirm/deny open investigations or if it is permissible for them to make oblique “suggestions”. Not my field, but I thought police limited comments on the content of open investigations, but were obligated to state whether an investigation is active. More facts please, Reduxx. This can’t be left at the hand-wringing stage, and the police need to be held to account for why this sicko is not locked up.

The pedo hunter group didn’t work with police, and instead decided to shove papers of printed sexual convos with the pedo at the police when bystanders called the cops. That’s not how you get an arrest. That’s not how this works. Cops suck and the system is set up against victims, but how the fuck could that have been expected to work.

Predator Poachers has successfully initiated arrests in multiple states, and that 80% of the other suspects he had confronted in California had been arrested the day of his stings or in the days after he spoke to police, but Westfall still has not been charged with any crime.

If there were arrests in other cases, I have to assume the facts of how they proceeded to the police were markedly different.

Given how PP did proceed with the police (and accepting that it was the incorrect way to get a same-day arrest), what would you expect should have happened by now? (Incident occurred 2 1/2 months ago.) If PP had gone straight to the police to report the activity with Westfall and provided the evidence, would an investigation be opened and Westfall interviewed? Trying to understand the apparent lack of police activity, and if that lack is outside of standard practice once police have been alerted to this type of case or whether local departments do not typically investigate “hypothetical” crimes that do not involve an actual victim. If the former, then the heat needs to be turned up on Berkeley police. If your area of expertise, would appreciate any insight you can provide.

I support the community if they take care of him off the books. Absolute monster.

I couldn't finish reading that. I wish I believed in an eternally burning hell for this monster.

I am wondering of the cops were already onto the pedo, and this sting actually messed up the investigation

Seems really, really unlikely. The odds of the cops “being onto” any random pedo are tiny. And if an investigation had been messed up why not just arrest him with what they have? It’s been months.

Because trials get thrown out if the evidence is gathered improperly.

I don't follow the reasoning. The pedo hunters have gathered enough evidence to convict plenty of others, their methods seem to generally work and presumably they weren't doing anything different here.

And in the unlikely chance that the cops were doing an investigation already they'd have even more evidence available, they'd be able to pick and choose the right evidence to prosecute him if they were interested.

And any jury would convict him on the basis of those texts.
