Rant Misogynist Owen Jones put me in a bad mood

I'm 7 months pregnant, I don't need the negativity right now so I just deleted Twitter. I take abuse like that a lot online, so I'm not sure what it was that got to me today.

Just wanted to share with you ladies. Could use a pick me up.

Several layers deep on one of his ridiculous posts i commented that men who claim "TWAW" but then seek out women as surrogates are awful. For whatever reason he replied to me and I got a bunch of hate/abuse for my message. Someone threatened to kill me. And many other nasty, awful messages. I'm 7 months pregnant, I don't need the negativity right now so I just deleted Twitter. I take abuse like that a lot online, so I'm not sure what it was that got to me today. Just wanted to share with you ladies. Could use a pick me up.

That is so scary, I'm really sorry you dealt with that. I actually only saw a few of the replies bc when I saw OJ had replied to me I decided to quickly reply once and delete Twitter. I was upset by the few comments I did read and didn't want to read the rest.

For now, I just deleted the app from my phone and haven't actually deleted the account. I've no idea what is happening with the account now, but I don't think I want to find out.

I would urge you to delete the account if there is any way someone could identify you and threaten your job. If not, then just don't look at it. I don't know where in the world you are, but what happened to Amy Eileen Hamm is a cautionary tale.

Gender Critical Feminism

Feminism is the movement to liberate women from patriarchy. We stand up for the rights of women to control our own bodies as individuals and to control women-only spaces as a class.

Women are adult human females. We do not believe that men can become women by 'feeling' like women or 'identifying' as women. We condemn the erasure of females and female-only spaces, the silencing of critical thinking, the cancelling of feminists and critics, the denial of biological reality and of sex-based oppression. We oppose the 'cotton ceiling' and the pressure on lesbians to have sex with men. Women are oppressed to exploit their biological sex characteristics, and women have a right to a movement that is about their own liberation from that oppression. We resist the redefinition of both "women" and "feminism" to make them serve men.
