Imagine being a medical student (resident), giving a pelvic exam on a “trans woman,” saying something harmless about wanting to eat your lunch, and said trans woman giving some creepy insight about how she he thinks it’s funny because it sounds like you’re implying you want to perform oral sex on her him.

I cannot stand these fucks.

that is gross, doesn't sexually inappropriate remarks go in their record somewhere? i've heard drs use coded language to let other drs know that a patient is a PITA but sexual inappropriateness should be noted for sure.

also, amazed anyone can be forced to be doing a pelvic exam on whatever butchery is going on down there and still able to think of eating. medics truly are made of steel!

The resident’s stomach growled during the exam and she said, “My stomach is rumbling! I can’t wait to eat.” The TW said she he behaved himself and didn’t crack any jokes but decided to make a whole Reddit thread about it to get some laughs. Of course people are laughing at this stupid fucking pervert instead of pointing out how weird it is to think of oral sex while getting a pelvic exam.

it really goes to show that they think about sex literally all of the time.

I work in the medical field. If I found the Reddit post I’m referring to and remembered the patient I said it to, I would simply request not to work with them anymore.

I had a male patient grab my breast when I worked in adult care. I threatened to break his fingers if he didn’t let go. He told me I needed to work on my anger.

They’ll always make you feel bad for your discomfort, never about the thing that made you uncomfortable.

Is this a reddit thread? Because if so I bet it might just be a wank fantasy. I cannot imagine even the most devout handmaiden "gynecologist" thinking about, let alone mentioning, food while pretending to perform a pelvic exam on an inverted dick. It all sounds like an elaborate fantasy that was typed with one hand.

Yeah, titled, “So my pelvic exam today… 😳” I saw the title and rolled my eyes immediately. I knew it was going to be something sexual. I’m not sure why a trans woman would be going to get a pelvic exam, given that the whole point of a pelvic exam would be to check on reproductive organs that pseudo women are lacking.

Reminds me of that movie scene, I forget which one, but the coroner is slicing a human brain in a deli style meat machine with one hand while talking and eating a baloney sandwich in the other.

I don't really think it's appropriate to discuss your lunch while giving a pelvic exam.

She wasn’t discussing her lunch. She was responding to the fact that her stomach growled and she wanted to get to lunch.

Medical staff have conversations with patients all the time. It’s never meant to be interpreted as sexual.

No, of course the TIM is gross and inappropriate. I didn't mean to say otherwise. I was just thinking I would find that weird, but what do I know.

Speaking personally, it helps me a little bit with anxiety to chat with patients if I’m performing a procedure on them. I work with kids, so it’s especially helpful for both of us to be comfortable during those moments.

I can’t say I’ve ever performed a pelvic exam on anyone and had a conversation about lunch, but I’ve done equally uncomfortable things and found other things to talk about. If I found out they interpreted it sexually, my skin would crawl.
