I have always found it frustrating how TIMs (MtFs) will claim that they do not experience male privilege because when they are presumed to be male it is misgendering (which is a form of violence). However, most amazingly, I came across this post sharing this contradictory opinion from a TIM wherein he goes on about how he can't have male privilege because of misgendering etc etc but then actually admits that he sometimes lets himself pass as male (which is sooo horrible) for safety reasons. I really just feel like if we are at the point where these people are actually admitting that they have male privilege, while still denying it at the same time, we have certainly reached a level of La-La-Land ideology that is hopefully about to crack? Do you think people like this are hurting their cause, or do you think it makes no difference because people will just keep believing what they want to believe? I honestly just don't know. If you would like to see the post, here it is. This isn't the original post (it is someone who is critical of it), so clicking on it won't give any traffic to the dumbass who originally made the post.

Anyway, I am just looking for other opinions on where we are at in this whole debate, because when I see things like this I think we must be near the breaking point. But maybe not?

I remember something that helped peak me, it was a tim on reddit saying that he lived as a woman most of the time, but presented as male at work bc "for some reason" his job is just easier when he's male-presenting

I think that might've been what got me banned from one of the trans subreddits bc I was like, "for some reason" are you kidding me?

They're selfish, irrational clowns

I thought you were going to say that got him banned from the subreddit, and I thought “good for them, some integrity!”, but no. Glad you spoke out though.

Oh my lord! That is insufferable. How can these people keep a straight face when saying this stuff? And how can so many others just lap it up?! I guess people literally don’t listen to it fully. They are just told that it is bigoted to disagree in any way with “this trans person is actually the opposite sex, at least when they want to be,” so they allow this crap to continue. So beyond ridiculous!
