See, an event like this might be fun if it was a truly creative exercise in which kids got free reign to play dress up in whatever way they please.

But they're being brought to these events and being told very specifically what they're supposed to look like and how they're supposed to act. Where's the fun? What is imagination? To say nothing of the drag artists presiding, who thinks this is what kids want?

ETA: I will also pay someone actual money if they give them shit for being exclusionary in their call for drag kings and queens, but not drag enbies.
