Mr. Finke who claims to be a single mom spoke about his transition, There is a mix of emotions that comes with aging during or after transitions. People who transitioned later in life talk about it being like the second adolescence. There is a real sense of putting together your own excitement about living this new life, and also recognizing that you’ve lost all these years to live that life: the experiences of having a girlhood or being a young woman in your 20s. I was married and I have children and I’m grateful and love all of that, but I would have loved to be a married woman. There are just parts of life that probably are done. https://www.thelily.com/the-oldest-millennials-turned-40-this-year-five-women-share-what-that-means-to-them/

I am curious about the fact that Mr. Finke claims to be a single mom and wonder about the part of his life before he transitioned--his dead life. What happened to Mr. Finke's wife who did live as a married women and gave birth to his two children?

"I would have loved to be a married woman."

It's stuff like this that is so disturbing – he was a married man. What on earth makes him think that being "a married woman" is so different an experience? Hmm... let me think... could it be sexist cosplay fantasies, where he's a (fantasy) fifties housewife?

Obv. he's awful.

But.....when I was young, if you made a mistake you could hide, change - reinvent yourself and your life. You could move across country and start 'over.' With the internet, there really is no way of doing this (for good or bad). Everyone can find you, out you, and make you sorry or accountable - or just remember everything you were. Even minor regrets become the narrative you must always carry (to some degree).

Trans'ing yourself is a baptism that washes away all those sins -

After all, those old sins were committed by a person who was UNABLE to be authentic. Now he's authentic, so it's all good.

It's the new way of moving across country and starting over (okay, mixed in with an unhealthy dose of other psychological issues - different for everyone).

There's also the "non-binary" from Duluth who has a wife and is strangely endorsed by several women's groups and given support from an organization that promotes women in legislation. She ran on being half native and half Mexican heritage, I'm surprised she didn't throw out a little "two spirit" just to make sure she got enough buzzwords. I'm worried the state is lost, as we had a very early token TiF thrown under the bus to make sure the state high school league would accept wrong sex students.

In a state supported by Mayo Clinic and Medtronic, we now don't know what a woman is.

Are there any women's groups standing up for women's rights? In my woke state there are no groups.
