I just discovered this was a thing and had to share it here. Its so fucking ridiculous.

First off, their slogan is "Queer, Inclusive, Badass" (starting with a slur. Lovely)

And here's their About Us blurb:

Pride month may be over, but LGBTQ lives are at risk. Trans Americans of all ages are under attack, women and people with the capacity for pregnancy have lost fundamental freedoms. Black, Latinx, and Asian Americans still face overt and systemic racism. Our workforce is experiencing extreme burnout, COVID-19 has shifted how we work faster than companies can keep up with, and most days we’re simply trying to keep up. Which is why we’re coming together in San Francisco and all over the world virtually to heal and prepare for the road ahead.

I love how they whine about racism while using a racist colonizer term like "Latinx". Also, of fucking course they address "transphobia" before touching on Roe v Wade at a WOMEN'S event. Can't let those lesbians forget who actually matters here!

There will be daycare, a kids meetup, ping pong, basketball hoops, mentoring and more. We expect over 15K to join us from all over the world.

Hopefully the drag queens they hire to watch the kids aren't convicted sex offenders this time....

Also, most of the speakers aren't tech people (and a lot of them are men). Most of them are some flavor of activist and look like they can barely work a smartphone, let alone offer any insight into what its like to be a woman in tech.

Speakers include notable ""lesbians"" like Chuckie Clymer and the (male) founder of Air BnB.

The mayor of San Francisco is also there. I'd like to believe that the attendees will ask her about all the human shit and homeless people they had to dodge to get there. But I'm guessing the mayor will just clean up the area around the conference and shuffle the homeless off to some poor neighborhood

So it looks like this is yet another lesbian/woman event that got colonized by trans/queer bullshit. And I'm pretty sure the tech part will also take a backseat to whining about trans issues and coddling all the men in attendance

I attended this conference in 2017. One of my first comments on Ovarit in response to post "How did you meet your first transsexual?"

First "passing" TiM, at the Lesbians Who Tech conference in San Francisco. I was 18 and they gave me a student scholarship. I had a fake ID to get into clubs, but I didn't lie about my age to other attendees. I flirted with many women and kissed a few, one TiM. This TiM was very feminine, with slight south asian features, thin body (probably anorexic?), and small breasts. I knew something was up with the voice and lack of curves but couldn't really put it together then- now I would clock from a mile away.

We were all dancing the first or second night of the event. The TiM and I danced performatively for a minute- like straight girls do. Kissed at the end of the song to whoops and hollers from the other women. I had been attracted to him previously due to his exotic look. But after being physically close, I didn't feel the warm arousal I would feel after dancing and kissing a woman. Something in the lizard brain popped up, said Danger Danger.

Anyway, of course this "woman" tries to get into my pants for the rest of the week. The prey seeking drive in males is something I've yet to see in any female, even high T horny lesbians. Out of the many women I connected with and expereinced mutual attraction, even drunk and horny, only one decided to aggressively pursue the barely legal girl alone in a new city for sex.

That conference is now a pipeline for all these diversity grifters getting jobs in the White House. It's wild.

Yeah it is nuts. I did a bunch of LGBT DEI tech stuff as a student. At Google as an intern during pride month there were daily happy hours, gold flecked champagne, and a drag performance. Another conference called Out for Undergrad they wined and dined us at Twitter HQ and Bloomberg in SF. My roommate for that one was an HSTS, he was nice but I don't think they asked about preferences for same-sex housing.

An aside: this analysis The Truth About Pervs tracks 100% with my experience in Big Tech 'qweer' spaces. There is a correlation between AGP, computerphilia, and world-domination fantasy. Blanchard's theory is compelling.

Cringe case in point: the cofounder of a firm I worked at, a dude in his 50s with full muttonchops https://www.crowdstrike.com/blog/hyacinth-diehl-on-international-transgender-day-of-visibility/
