When is this butcher going to lose her damn license!? And how many other botched (or dead) patients are out there that we don't know about?

This woman encourages obese people to get risky elective surgery and then put Neosporin on infected surgical wounds! WTF!?

This happened to me!!!! I got top surgery last May with Dr.Gallagher and it was one of the most traumatic experiences I’ve had. I woke up during surgery and was given no pain medication while also feeling everything. I felt so alone since her social media makes it seem Like she walks on water. I had holes in my chest that were large enough to put my fingers through, and despite having to go to urgent care MULTIPLE times, she insisted there was nothing wrong and for me to just put Neosporin and bandaids over the growing holes.

The clinic that she practices at has a weight limit that her team doesn’t communicate and despite regularly communicating with her and the team on my weight, I was told the day of surgery that I was too large and the anesthesiologist refused to preform surgery.

Once she realized it was her fault and her team had reassured for months “it’s okay, yeah that’s fine, I’ve had bigger guys come in” she convinced the anesthesiologist to preform anyway which lead to me waking up in the middle of surgery trying to remove my mask And unable to breathe.

How did Gallagher convince the anesthesiologist to go ahead with the surgery!? Slip him some cash under the table? I'm thinking the anesthesiologist deserves a call out as well!

It’s devastating that as fat trans people our options for safe medical care is so limited and more often than not we are subjected to life threatening bullshit.

Ugh....

This poor, brainwashed TIF is still blaming fatphobia for her bad experience instead of accepting that obesity DOES increase risks in surgery (and that Gallagher is shady as fuck for being so blythe about taking on patients with high BMI)

I’m so sorry we share this trauma. I hope reading my story made you feel less alone. Neosporin is exactly what she told me to put on my abscess. I was so shocked. The hospital she worked with also denied me pain meds for 17 mins after waking up, saying I should be “happy instead”

I wonder if she gives the same post-op advice to everyone because her patient load is too large for her to properly manage (this is the woman who cried on TikTok when she only got to yeet 4 teets in a single week). So she either gives automated responses to her patients' texts/emails or she has some dumb receptionist handle all that

Thank you both so much for exposing her. Really one of the most horrific things I’ve read in a while. It’s so evil to use the fact fat people have limited options to offer them services then treat them this way!!!!

Gallagher feeds into the TRA entitlement complex that says, "Anyone who tells me 'no' is transphobic, fatphobic, etc". If other gender quacks are so worried about a patient's BMI that they refuse to take their money and do the surgery, that should give these girls pause. But they've been convinced that cutting their breasts off is a literal life or death necessity. So they ran to the crook who was willing to overlook the risks (and were SHOCKED when they met a bad outcome)

I hope more of her victims come forward. But I worry that the cult still cares more about protecting their butchers than protecting the trans people they cut open.

Also, I can't help noticing the hypocrisy/irony here. These are the same people who savaged detransitioners like KC Miller & Chloe Cole for whining about bad results they were "warned about" when they were just kids. And now at least two of Gallagher's former patients have come out to say that they chose to get their teets yeeted by Gallagher even after other surgeons said "no" and warned them that their weight made elective surgery too risky (and then they had predictable bad outcomes)

I have spoken to women at support groups who's anesthesia failed during their cesareans. They were told to shut up, while they screamed and cried as their bodies were cut open.

It's some Genghis Khan shit, for real. No one cares about women's pain. Healthcare is riddled with sociopathic misogynists. Female practitioners can be some of the worst offenders, and our system makes it impossible to effectively sue for malpractice and trauma.

I really feel for the victims of these surgeons. I don't know what it will take for healthcare to actually, you know, care for human beings.

I had something similar happen to me, and I'm sorry to say that it's convinced me that most surgeons are functioning psychopaths. Possibly some aren't, but most of them I've met have been the nastiest people. Even nurses I know have said that consultant surgeons are the most horrible people you'll ever meet. Maybe it takes a particular kind of person to be comfortable cutting human bodies up.

Do you really think that's true? I hope not, because someone I care about is going to get surgery in a few days.

And I'm sorry that happened to you. Sounds horrifying.

I do. Most psychopaths are in control of themselves, they're not all maniacs. Surgeons make horrible people, but most of them are good surgeons.

she convinced the anesthesiologist to preform anyway which lead to me waking up in the middle of surgery trying to remove my mask And unable to breathe.

There's a major reason for the weight limit, ffs. The larger the body mass the more difficult it is to accurately administer anesthetic so the patient neither wakes up during surgery nor never wakes up again.

This is disgusting. Gallagher is evil and belongs behind bars, stripped of her medical license.

Tbh I'd be surprised if there isn't major legal backlash against her one of these days. In twenty years when we look back on this madness, it will be horrifying to look at social media posts from a doctor pulling a sad face saying she doesn't get to "yeet enough teets" this week.

I think I heard she's moving her butcher shop to the Caribbean.

How long till Gallagher loses a patient? Seems like only blind luck has kept them alive so far.

It's unfortunate that these kids are acting as though the medical profession is failing to deliver healthcare for the fat when they're actually protecting them from complications and death.

It’s simply not public yet that she has lost a patient. It doesn’t mean that it hasn’t already happened. It is only a short matter of time before someone dies if they haven’t already. Neosporin? Hell no; heavy course of antibiotics is needed, minimum. Hospital is needed.

One of the greediest, immoral doctors alive right now.

Exactly. As someone who has worked in the medical field, that is horrifying advice. Infected surgical wounds can go septic in a matter of hours, she needs to run bloodwork with cultures at the bare minimum. No wonder she doesn't carry malpractice insurance.

I don't understand how she cannot be sued??? How is it that she can just opt out of malpractice insurance? I truly do not understand.

She honestly seems monstrous.

I have a horror of the "yeet the teets" phrase, it sounds like she yanks them off with pliers. Shudder

I wouldn't be surprised if she's already lost at least one patient. But we just don't know yet because she either paid off the patient's family and/or the patient's friends/family care more about protecting the sanctity of "trans healthcare" than getting justice

She deliberately markets to high risk patients and gives shitty follow up. If she hasn't killed anyone yet, its a damn miracle!

It’s devastating that as fat trans people our options for safe medical care is so limited and more often than not we are subjected to life threatening bullshit.

This is pretty much what we've been saying! Young people who are mentally and physically unhealthy should not be told that medical transition is the one and only cure for all that ails them. Chances are good that this young woman was struggling with other issues--self-harm, depression, autism, sexual assault, and/or an eating disorder. And she still is, except now she has to live with complications from a botched surgery, too.

For real. IMO, its no different than offering liposuction or lap band surgery to an anorexic with an extremely underweight BMI. It might make her feel good in the moment. But its a HUGE risk and it will not solve the underlying issues that lead her there to begin with

These TIPs are fed the lie that their only two options are medical transition or suicide. So its no wonder that they're willing to ignore the risks and go to a crook like Gallagher. If Gallagher had said "no", they may have allowed some friend to carve them up on the kitchen table.

It kills me how they'll still defend these butchers after horrific outcomes

As far as patients doing research:

  1. I think that's why Gallagher is on social media so much. She's trying to swamp the algorithm with her own glowing self-portrayals. This makes critical information about her down the list of hits, so it takes more digging to find it.
  2. A lot of her patients are working class or not that educated, and wouldn't be able to outfox her.

It truly is a horror. The butchery stories and testaments to the harms are out there. Why don’t these women do their own research before undergoing such major surgery?

It’s almost as though they are so in thrall to the oasis of transgenderism that they are incapable of seeing through it until after the fact. These tragic surgeries finally pierce the veil, but it’s too late by then.

Why don’t these women do their own research before undergoing such major surgery?

The two women who recently came out against Gallagher said that other gender surgeons turned them down due to their BMI. Gallagher is popular with overweight trans people because she has no BMI cap and will do the surgeries for prerty much anyone willing to pay

Sadly, these girls were so brainwashed by trans dogma that they believed the warnings about BMI and surgery were due to fatphobia. And that the surgeons who told them "no" only did so because they're bigoted against fat trans people. Gallagher exploits this by presenting herself as a savior who will yeet the teets of anyone no matter how much they weigh or how many co-morbid disorders they have

Yeah, it's this unfortunately. These women DID do their research, but they didn't believe what they found. Once you're brainwashed enough to think that JK Rowling wants to kill you and you should stop speaking to anyone who expresses concern about injecting testosterone into your body, you're brainwashed enough to think that being obese isn't dangerous, it's all just a conspiracy to police your body.

Edited for more info: I've known a few people who were deep, deep into the 'Fat Positivty' movement, and it's a lot like TRA rhetoric. They sincerely believed that any negative outcome resulting from being obese was actually just because of fatphobia. Literally, they believed that people living with obesity had heart attacks or certain cancers or diabetes more often than normal weight people because of stress from living in a fatphobic world. I don't deny that fat people are treated badly or that stress is a major contributer to ill health, but there are a shocking number of people out there who believe that there is literally no difference in the health of someone who is 400lbs vs someone who is 130lbs. A lot of the QRTs about these awful cases of Gallagher's say things like "When will they make surgery safe for fat transmen?!"

If being hated by other people was that bad for your health, women would die earlier than men, not the other way round.

And homosexuals would have much higher cancer and heart disease rates than heterosexuals, something I haven't heard about. (Let's be real here, tons of US-Americans are overweight, and especially with the men, I am not entirely sure the moderately overweight even stand out that much. Women always hate their bodies, it's pretty much par of the course ... and thus, where would thinner women get their lower stress levels?)

It's really a tragedy, TRAs convince young people that those who want to harm them are their allies, and those who want to protect them are their enemies. It's an upside-down world of lies.

I am guessing it was probably threats not bribes

I am guessing it was probably threats not bribes

Maybe. I'd be scared as well if I had to look at her crazy eyes in person 😨

And yet, look here on the bottom of this comment archived

I tried to get to the original tweet to archive that but couldn’t go further than August

Any Twitter savants?

A screenshot of this girl telling ‘terf detransitioners’ that they have nobody to blame but themselves for the complications because ‘it’s all in the paperwork’

https://archive.ph/2022.11.22-203452/https://twitter.com/deplorablehomo/status/1593694212838461441?s=46&t=Y8UoachpBKql6uiXAl1DtA

Aaaaah. So Rylan WAS an asshole to detransitioners.

I hope in 5 years when it’s her turn, and it will be her turn, she gets the kindness she denied to her fellow dysphoria sufferers

It’s devastating that as fat trans people our options for safe medical care is so limited and more often than not we are subjected to life threatening bullshit.

It's shit like this that lends credence to the conservative claim that too many people are self-identified victims because they are entitled. Your weight is life threatening in and of itself, Zucchini! Your safe options are limited because of the laws of physics and chemistry.

Dr. G is fatphobic in the sense that she figures you're going to die soon anyway, so if that's sooner than expected, no big deal. She didn't take your life or your safety seriously.

Also, I can't help noticing the hypocrisy/irony here. These are the same people who savaged detransitioners like KC Miller & Chloe Cole for whining about bad results they were "warned about" when they were just kids.

In fairness, was it specifically Zucchini and Rylan?

I don't want to discourage either one from coming forward or make them feel like they brought it on themselves. They are entitled and Rylan is noticeably an assholes. But they did NOT bring it on themselves- the doctor's job is to guide the patient through what is and what is not possible. What is and is not safe. The doctor is supposed to make the executive decision is something is too dangerous. Zucchini did not have breast cancer. This was purely cosmetic.

Rylan had a post a few months ago ripping detransitioners, saying they were warned regret is a possibility in the informed consent papers they have to sign, so they have nothing to complain about.

There are screen shots floating around of Rylan mocking detransitioners for complaining about the results they signed up for.

And I absolutely agree that both of these TIFs deserve justice regardless of their shitty TRA behavior. Gallagher is at fault for taking advantage of them and neglecting their well being (and I hope they're able to get a payout from her). But I can't help feeling a tinge of schadenfreude when the TRAs who savaged people like KC Miller for "asking for it" get a taste of karma
