What the fuck. I've seen quite a few trans surgeries but this is new. At first glance this looks like they took a pre-pubescent girl and gave her liposuction, "thigh reduction" and "tummy tuck" as part of an anorexia affirming surgery. Sorry but I don't know what else to call it.

At second glance, it still looks like that, except maybe it's an adult woman after all and there are very faint lines of previous mastectomy scars.

Anyhow, this is sick. How anybody can claim that this is feminism is beyond me.

Transness is just Anorexia 2.0, really. So, yeah, figures.

When I was a girl, anorexia was the thing all the adults were worried about. Girls stopped eating in order to avoid becoming women. (Liposuction of the thighs ... damn, that reminds me how I hated my "fat" thighs as teen. The fat there is a part of growing up - and that's exactly what those girls want to avoid. By anorexia or by transing, I see little difference.)

And that was a thing since the Middle Ages, I am sure. Back then, it was seen as virtuous, just like trans is now - girls fasting themselves to death and punishing and destroying their bodies was practically saintly.

Nowadays, the place of that has been taken by trans surgery, and the place of Christian ideology has been taken by TRA ideology.

Not that I'm a fan of the "the flesh is sinful and must be denied" brand of Catholicism, but ... hey, at least women were allowed to keep themselves safe from rape by staying away from men under Catholicism.

With transactivism, girls' only hope lies in mutilating themselves until men are not interested in molesting them anymore. It's the only option - mutilate yourself or be officially declared a subhuman rapeslave.

This is scary. That giant wound across her chest is from the reverse tummy tuck. I thought it was another mastectomy. She looks like she was butchered. I’m not qualified to speak on the experience of anorexia, but I agree that this looks like anorexia affirming surgery. She was already thin before surgery. Males have large thighs and stomachs too, but her female bone structure doesn’t lie. The greed of these doctors is despicable. They’re monsters. They looked at this young woman struggling with her body and decided to carve her up like a piece of meat.

It was the legs that really upset me. Some butcher with a medical degree cut open two perfectly healthy legs and removed/redistributed healthy fat cells in a healthy-weight body, then stitched them back up. Imagine how still this woman will have to lay as her leg stitches/wounds heal up. It’s incredibly easy to pop a stitch or fresh surgical scar.

And for what? What amounts ultimately to an aesthetic preference?

Edit: Someone replied to the tweet with Dr Nick nooo

Double edit: I struggled with anorexia as a young teen and even in a pro-skinny, pro-ana society fucking NOBODY would have supported me cutting my body open to remove fat cells. Which, like, good. Why does the trans moniker suddenly change established medical ethics??

I think even Doctor Nick would draw the line at this insanity.....

that is a real girl? i thought (i.e. was hoping) it was a plastic model doll.

Actually, I'm surprised anorexia doesn't have its own flag.

I'm sure anorexic will become part of the "queer umbrella" any day now. Literally everything else is

I had my finger accidentally (and partially) cut off when I was younger and reattached with some stitches. That scar still gets tight and hurts every once in a while (especially with weather changes when the skin tightens, etc). My scar is only half an inch long.... I can't imagine the consequences of these surgeries. Look at the 'after' photo of the thighs... just the sight of that skin being pulled together looks painful.

I knew a woman from weight watchers who lost 200 pounds and that brought her to a healthy weight. She wound up dealing with a lot of skin issues such as sores and fungal infections due to excess skin flaps. Eventually, insurance approved her to have skin removal surgery. While the woman I knew was extremely happy with being free from the skin pain, she said the recovery was extremely painful and not worth it if you’re just doing it for cosmetic reasons.

What in the fuck is a reverse tummy tuck. They take a flat tummy and make it stick out?

The reverse refers to them pulling the stomach skin upwards and the scar is under the breasts instead of on the lower belly.

That Twitter picture is so fucking unbelievable and grotesque. All of this is utterly ghastly. Yet, it's cheered as revolutionary and righteous. Fucking hell this time line is shit.

I've never seen such a procedure and it's horrifying. Deliberately removing full-body secondary sex characteristics such as body fat pockets. It's like Frankenstinian horror.

Detransitioners regret having their breasts removed and their voice being permanently altered, now imagine this woman's horror when she realizes her entire body has been chopped up and all her fat pockets removed and replaced with huge scarring everywhere.

And I imagine this will lead to horrific complications if she ever gains a significant amount of weight...

I can’t quite work out what’s even going on

It looks like she’s had a masectomy before so I’m guessing the fresh chest scar is from pulling her stomach skin up to perform a tummy tuck? She’s got scars hip to hip pre existing so has she had a tummy tuck previously?

Also men have thick thieghs so why are they cutting so much from her legs? That seems so fucking dangerous on top of whatever is already going on

This poor woman needs some serious mental health interventions
