Usually more than one of these are happening at once, but I was thinking about the types of TiMs I've seen:

The autogynephile (obv) - sexually attracted to themselves as women. Comes in many flavors.

The shame filled gay man who thinks that wanting to have sex with men is womanhood.

Men who are bothered by his sex drive and would prefer something much lower or none at all.

Cross dressers who are told that their sexual arousal in women's clothing is euphoria and proof of their transness.

Men who want to be admired, fawned over, dressed beautifully. Men who like makeup and nail polish and selfies.

Men who watch lesbian porn and fantasize about being in a lesbian relationship.

Men who watch trans porn and want to fuck/become the porn star.

Men with a sissy/humiliation kink.

Men who feel particularly hurt when excluded from female groups.

Lazy men who think women do nothing but lounge on their chaise' eating bonbons all day. I've seen a shed-load of these.

Also, men who recognize that they are a failure at being men, but who feel they can just opt into womanhood, because they only see women as less-than-men.

Yes! As they make themselves more prominent I see a lot of men who clearly think they are 'failed men' and it's just so much easier to be a woman. Somehow they fail to realize that 1) they will never actually pass as women so that point is moot, and 2) it's really not easier to be a woman. Our struggles are different but not easier. They can't truly understand that though because they will never be able to understand what it's like to be a woman. Hell, most of them lack the self-awareness to realize there's no way in hell they pass, let alone actual empathy towards women.

And their belief is supported when they trans and suddenly find that 'things are easier' for them--thinking it's because they're now 'women', but in reality because they're now announcing to the world that they're dangerously unstable men who no one wants to set off.

Almost of all of these groups are AGP. Cross dressers = AGP. Men who want to be admired and fawned over by dressing as women = AGP. Men who watch lesbian porn and want to be the lesbian = AGP. Men who watch trans porn and want to chase/become the star = AGP. Men with sissy/humiliation kink = AGP. Men who want to invade female spaces = AGP.

And yes HSTS can also be AGP too.

They are all misogynistic men and most of them are perverts.

This was my first thought too, the MRAs “sticking it” to feminism by transing out and taking employment and political positions meant for women. They’ve talked about this as a strategy to push women out.
