So I feel guilty for not really understanding that the "L" part of the "LGB" was being driven rapidly underground by the TQ+. I never really thought much of the fact that there were lesbians and bi girls in my school. It was like train tracks or water or anything else that just happened to be there not affecting my life.
It was the nonbinary lesbians that really repeaked me. Made me start to realise that L, G and B were yoked to the overloaded cart full of TRAs on drugs screaming about how everyone owed them validation. If the journalist in question is Kalen D'Almeida, it's also well worth noting that Mr. D'Almeida is young, male, and a good sized dude—the precise demographic that, until Sunday afternoon, alws turned TRAs into simpering little milquetoasts (and turned their cars back into pumpkins, too). Before this incident, I can't immediately recall TRAs physically assaulting a man any younger than Uncle Fred (Sargeant), who is well into his seventies.
There were also a number of hint-hint-nudge-nudge posts from TRAs with good-sized followings who—without directly saying so, but, absolutely unmistakably—were calling for people to shoot cops and Republican politicians. Like holy shit? Do they actually believe that their movement—or they, personally—would be alive for more than a few days if they did that?

Literally no one likes these peoplle. Not even the most insanely radicalized Justice Democrats like or respect them.
