Once in a while they cherry pick ranty comments or mediocre memes and make fun of them, that's it. I feel the stalking used to be more intense in the r/GC days. They are so far into the "TERFs are a hate group, they never argue their position consisely and just slander trans people all day" narrative that they can't afford to actually take a closer look, because it might alert them to the contradictions in their own thinking.

I've noticed that their content stream has dwindled as well. I browsed gendercritical for about a month before it was banned, so I didn't notice how active it was, but Ovarit produces 2.5 pages of new posts a day and they barely get content from that.

I think that they have to cherry pick stuff (which led to a lack of material for them) because most of Ovarit is coherent, makes sense to the normal person, and they don't want to accidentally peak the people of the subreddit. I bet some of those who used to search Ovarit/GC for posts to make fun at peaked (that's how I and most women I know got here) and it's only a matter of time until we get a post that says "I used to contribute to AHS/GenCyn and now I've peaked". This comment must hit a bit too close to home for the lurkers, and they won't screencap this for their subreddit because they know it's true 😉

Yes, I am one of them. It's like, once you actually start listening to women, you notice that you aren't so different from them after all and they're not the hysteric harpies they've been painted as. You know, a feminist classic, when you stop feeling like "you're not like other girls" because you start connecting with said girls directly instead of believing what others say about them.

Yup. I was skimming AHS one day, saw a long write-up on GC, headed over to see the "hate" for myself and stayed for the discussions and dissections of subjects that had begun to pick at the edge of my consciousness, but on which I hadn't had the time to do more reading and thinking.

The mockery was helpful in that regard - "All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident"

Me too. I think I may have learned about r/GC from AHS, actually. Hard to remember now. But I had joined it because I heard they were trying to get TheDonald banned.

I'm glad you're here. I like reading your posts; you write clearly and thoughtfully, and your posts are a pleasure to read. :)

Yeah I've noticed that too. Sometimes I actually go there to see how they're making fun of us because often it's ridiculous, and they do cherry-pick the more random things from here, like someone posting something kind of conservative that doesn't even really vibe much with the rest of the users here. It's like the content went down because the majority realized we're actually quite sane.

I seem to recall one of them saying either on reddit or tumblr something like “we can’t let them make posts like this, what if other people see it and read it and they agree with them? Because that’s a huge danger with these people, they’re so convincing.”

I’m sure that ss is around here somewhere.

We should infiltrate the sub and post content from Ovarit and trigger another peakening lmao

I bet this comment gets screenshotted - Dont worry guys, i have a whole job & life, so little time to be playing your games.
