Welp. There we go. There's finally proof of a "TERF" actively wishing them harm.

Did she have to threaten violence?? She gave them fuel and they are roaring.

She's a lesbian and a porn actress who goes by Lily Cade. Her website is down (presumably from getting cancelled, ironically, because she was going on and on about how she can't be taken down) and there are no snapshots on archives I could find. Got it. Here it is, the archive of the full original post: https://archive.ph/43TBv (There is an unfortunate NSFW capture at the very bottom of the page of oral sex being performed, be warned.) It's viler than what was reported. I can't believe this. She calls the mothers she's addressing in her post "b!tches"!

Fucking thank you, Lily, for undoing the strides made and for proving people like Terra Field right about "people who don't want us to be (alive)".

Anti-Transgender Activist Quoted by BBC Calls For Trans Women to Be 'Lynched'

An anti-transgender activist recently quoted in a controversial BBC article posted online advocating for violence against transgender women and called for them to be lynched.

Lily Cade, a lesbian porn star who apologized amid a series of sexual assault allegations in 2017, was featured in a controversial BBC article that claims trans women pressure lesbians into sex.

In a post on her website called "Where the are these children's mothers," Cade characterized trans women as "vile, weak, disgusting whiny, fake-victim" and supported acts of violence against them.

"Cancel this so hard that no man dare walk the path of the trans woman in public ever again! Enough is enough. Lynch Kaitlyn (Jenner)! Lynch the 'Sisters' Wachowski! Lynch Laurel Hubbard! Lynch Fallon Fox!" the post read.

Cade continued to argue that trans women are not really women and said if it were up to her, she'd execute "every last one of them personally."

"They can't take down Lily Cade. She's already dead. I'm the bullet, b!tch, if you let me be. Who else has the balls, the brains, the voice, and the pitiless eyes to fight these mothers? I'm a f%cking soldier. You ready? I'm ready," Cade wrote.

She continued that the only transgender person she respects is Buck Angel because "she knows she made a horrifying mistake," called for trans women to die by suicide, likened them to Satan and implied gay marriage was a mistake.

Since the BBC published its article on October 26, it's faced huge backlash for the piece, which many have called transphobic and dangerous.

The article is primarily based on the experiences of anonymous lesbians who claim they have been threatened and shamed into having sex with transgender women.

Cade was described as "Porn Valley's Gold Star Lesbian" in the article for only ever having sex with other women but claimed she faced criticism for not wanting to sleep with trans women.

A number of anti-transgender LGB groups were cited in the article and utilized a study based on members already inside the organizations.

Trans Media Watch (TMW), a pro-transgender watchdog group, condemned the article.

"Either the BBC have failed to do due diligence on this story – or the team producing this story have knowingly colluded in a disinformation campaign targeted at trans people ... Irresponsible reporting like this is dangerous. It significantly and adversely impacts trans people's day-to-day lives," they wrote.

BBC defended the article and told LGBTQ media outlet Pink News that the topic is a "complex subject."

"It is important that journalism looks at issues – even where there are strongly held positions," the BBC said, defending the article. "The BBC is here to ensure debate and to make sure a wide range of voices are heard."

Since the post on Cade's website—which has crashed—people are calling for the BBC to take action.

I'm so tired of this. TIMs threaten to hurt and assault women constantly (WE HAVE THE FUCKING RECEIPTS) and no one gives a shit. One woman writes an unhinged article and it's speaking for all radfems, apparently.

Seriously, they're not interested in honesty, why should we pander to them anymore?

[–] [Deleted] 47 points Edited

I'm not affected by this, as you say she does not represent me. I'm not up in arms and outraged either. They've been saying what they've been saying about us for a while and even before ether was "proof" we were made to pay for what they falsely accused us of. Women getting punished for just misgendering them, getting extra jail time ffs.

Lesbians being beaten for rejecting them. I have no idea why what she says is any worse then what they say, why they're alloted protection and sympathy and we're not spared even a thought. I know all of us have experienced horrific online harassment. I don't know why we would take responsibility for someone who isn't even apart of our movement, at least not what we do here.

[–] crodish [OP] 🤡🌏 27 points Edited

Of course she doesn't represent the majority of us, but it is HER words that are getting the spotlight, it is HER voice that was and is being highlighted. We could say the same for "truscum" trans people or "good trans" who vehemently denounce the likes of Alok Void Whatshisface and the general transtrenders. Bad press is still damaging. It DOES affect us.

I hate that this is the voice that they chose to spotlight out of thousands of other women who have spoken out more intelligently, more peacefully, more compassionately (JKR! Maya Forstater! Kathleen Stock! The list is endless!) but the world just doesn’t fucking listen, and it doesn't fucking care, especially since we're women. People will be swarming all over this because they'll latch on to any excuse to paint us in a bad light and chant "FUCK TERFS!" without a further thought in their head. I AM upset by this. Because it is too soon after we finally got a kind of headway with BBC finally growing a pair, and she (Lily) is not helping the narrative when it's finally gotten some traction.

[–] [Deleted] 30 points Edited

You have a right to be upset, but they hate us today the same amount they hated us yesterday. They never needed proof to do all the things they've done, if it's that easy for things to slide back then there was never any true change in the first place.

It doesn't change the fact that they've made up lies about us for a while. They consider what JK Rowling said to be literal nazi propaganda. I'm telling you, THEY DON'T CARE. This does not change their mind, they will always hate us, they will always hate women. It's not predicated on anything but hatred.

[–] EllaRoxy 6 points Edited

This isn't good for the movement at all. Just because TIMs do it doesn't mean we should do it. It will absolutely prove their point that TERFs want to kill them. Doesn't matter that most of us don't wish any violence on them and just want to be left alone. She absolutely does not speak for me. That was a tough read and as someone who is anti-porn not sure why she is being held in such high regard. So there's that. Just my opinion. Edited to say: Yeah I'm not going to champion a woman who has sexually assaulted people.

but it is HER words that are getting the spotlight, it is HER voice that was and is being highlighted

Don’t you think that’s on purpose? I absolutely do.

They finally found their White Whale of the mythical TERF who wishes trans people dead. TRAs are going to drag Cade out into EVERY discussion about GC for years to come (while continuing to ignore the countless TIMs who routinely call for females to be raped and killed).

And it's especially ironic because Cade has nothing in common with us in any respect (she's a proud porn producer). So its not like she was a member of our tribe who suddenly said the quiet part out loud. She's just fucking crazy

I'm not going to defend a public call for lynching (which I believe from context is largely metaphorical-- referring to the "personas" of trans-identified men) but no long-term porn performer is a healthy woman, and we shouldn't expect someone like this to shoulder the burden of "representing the community".

There are plenty of messed up women out there in this world, and we should remember she is receiving intense attention from the media and trans activists for being quoted about being sexually harassed almost a decade ago. She is not really an activist-- she is being misrepresented as one specifically to try to tank the very well-written BBC article. The fact remains that "Cotton Ceiling" was coined in response to her refusal to fuck a man regardless of how she behaves and what she says.

I'm not going to support this kind of rhetoric but she is clearly not well (referring to herself as dead etc.)

I finally read through the 3 new posts - and you are correct. She's referring to "Lily Cade" as a persona - one that she killed off long ago. She's coming back - speaking through the voice of that persona - to speak up where no one else will.

The ghost of Lily Cade holds out her hands.

She's not talking about actual murder - she's saying these men have personas - just like she did - and they need to kill them - just like she killed her persona.

I hate these shadow monsters. I want the true souls, the real men’s souls, that can still rise from the ashes of these shadow monsters to rise.

When she says this:

I comitted voter fraud for Joe Biden

Do people really think she is confession to committing voter fraud? Or is she using poetic language - talking about the Trump supporters who claim Trump won and Biden's win was voter fraud?

Considering how difficult it is to actually perpetrate voter fraud I assume she is speaking metaphorically.

[–] Moonflower 21 points Edited

This struck me as well — from the text quoted here it seems like she’s speaking at least somewhat metaphorically (saying things like “slit the throats of these vile personas” as though somehow separate from the men themselves). The rhetoric crosses a line for sure, but I think you’re right that it’s coming from a very dark and unhealthy place… and I can’t help wondering if Newsweek would devote an entire article digging into the past writings of anyone quoted in a pro-trans article, or if that’s only reserved for women who speak out about the excesses of abusive men.

I'm not going to support this kind of rhetoric but she is clearly not well (referring to herself as dead etc.)

I can't help wondering if they know Cade is unwell and are hoping they can push her to suicide just like August Ames

[–] visits_radio 62 points Edited

Lilly Cade was never a feminist. She is a rapist. That being said, I think it is more important to condemn her statements especially the ones wishing harm on people. That is not acceptable.

[–] Yemaya 48 points Edited

Yeah I saw a tweet that got a lot of likes/rts about her sexually assaulting some women and one in a bathroom and TRAs were basically like what do you have to say about this terfs? I want nothing to do with her if she’s a rapist and I don’t condone her calling to lynch people either.

[–] Ave_Lucifuge gender atheist 44 points Edited

I love that they're trying to use it as a "gotcha". What do I have to say? I say that's disgusting and I don't condone rape. Im not going to gaslight or close ranks or handwave her actions away.

What about you, TIMs? I'll pass out in shock the day they condemn one of the many predators in their ranks.

[–] LOriginedumonde 40 points Edited

It’s very important that we make an example out of her and strongly condemn her statements, which is something that TRAs refuse to do with their own. Her statements are abhorrent and completely unacceptable.

Edit: It’s also quite silly to act as if a porn performer speaks for radical feminists who are staunchly against sex work and pornography but I suppose that no blow is too low once you’ve shut off all critical thought.

I'm not going to defend what she said or did since she is obviously messed up. However, she is is still the one example they found. Meanwhile, there are thousands and thounsands of cases of TRA threatening women with all kinds of violence out there, there also lots of examples of them getting women doxed or fired for saying sex is real, there are also lots of examples of them weaponizing suicide to get what they want (they particularly love to say how the only options for children who reject their sex are either "transition" or suicide), and also many examples of them actually physically assaulting women. And of course, all the harm women had suffered because of the policies pushed, without a honest public debate, by the trans lobby.

I'm sure they are going to capitalize on anything Cade have said or done, despite that she is not representative of all the women who reject the Trans Dogma or that her words don't invalidate anything that was said in the BBC article, because they don't have any good argument on their own. Guilt by associatiation is all what they have.

Now do just 1% of the death threats received by Rowling, Stock, etc. `

`

People have been twisting her words since the BBC article was published. Basically - people in the industry said she went too far, that they hurt her...

and she accepted that it doesn't matter her intent, she hurt people, and she didn't offer excuses she stood up and took responsibility for it.

When has a man ever done that?

They've twisted it to say "she admitted to be a serial rapist" - which isn't what she said at all. She was in porn. She attended industry parties where she was expected to perform for cameras and she did. She was on set and "got good performances" out of porn stars. And she hurt people along the way. All in the service to creating porn.

This is the norm in porn. The industry is full of abuse.

But when women stood up and spoke up and told her SHE was part of the problem? She accepted it, she didn't blame anyone else, she didn't blame the industry, she accepted it. She took responsibility for what she had done...

And she left the industry and got sober, and has been living a private life out of the public since.

People don't realize that there is no consent in porn. They're all rapists, they're all hurting each other. I give some leeway for the women and the men who play "bottoms" in gay porn as they experience a unique sort of abuse in that industry.

You know how there are those subreddits that put up videos of mentally ill people having a breakdown? That's what this Newsweek article feels like.

I see this post, and it worries me that's she relapsing or in the midst of PTSD and needs help.

God her speech is so horrible I can’t even bring myself to read all of it. Like others are saying, she’s no TERF and certainly no feminist at all (how can a serial sexual assaulter ever be feminist?!) Just awful.

[–] crodish [OP] 🤡🌏 19 points Edited

It's absolutely vile. I'm still struggling to get through it. I thought the quotes from the article were bad but those were only the mildest (!) parts.

Edit: I've read it all. She covers a lot of ground which most of us would agree with and mentions a lot of the things that are commonly talked about: the TIM who tried to breastfeed his baby, children getting pushed on blockers and surgeries, lesbians getting threatened, the word "mother" being lost, pedophilia, how social media is the fault of this, big pharma, AGP, the whole bunch. It's just liberally sprinkled with crass language and insults and constantly calling women a "b!tch", plus the whole lynching part. There's a strong argument to say she was calling for the trans "personas" to be killed, and not the actual men donning said "personas", but... sigh.

I think it goes without saying, but for any lurking TRA‘s, I just want to reiterate that this is unacceptable. None of us want you dead. The fact that she would call for some thing like this is disgusting and unacceptable. If the multiple instances of people abusing their identities and calling for terfs to be murdered doesn’t represent you as a whole, then obviously she does not represent us as a whole

Honestly, I think her speech being shocking will do more to get people to actually read what she's saying than if she were demurring and polite.

She's not a politician, that's for sure.

She strikes me as a Valerie Solanas-type.

[–] BlackCirce 🔮🐖🐖🐖 17 points

She is Valerie Solanas for our age. I feel like feminism is back.

[–] [Deleted] 25 points Edited

Not everyone here might agree with what she's saying, I don't really care for this piece of work( I think she rage wrote this), but most people here have not lived the life she's lived and have not seen the true depravity of the world as she has seen it. I think she's already been canceled, and cast out and she's just saying her piece. I don't know why anyone here is balking this much, we're not a monolith, she's one woman, she's not all of us.

I just love her righteous fury, I can feel it burning through every word she writes.

There’s a thread put up yesterday that has a full length essay about not only trans but pretty much says trans are a symptom of the corruption at the soul of our society. It’s language is vulgar but it’s sincerity is unassailable.

Lily Cade is based as fuck. All these nicefems think being nice will win us this war against violent, dangerous men. She survived TIM sexual assault, why can't she rant about them?

Being nice won't lead to victory, no, you're right about that. Being smart will though, and while being nice to a fault is stupid, writing rants including calls for lynching is ever more stupid.

Some of you spend to much time arguing about being nicefems or rudefems or whatever you call yourselves these days instead of working on a characteristic that's actually useful.

Not to mention that "the end justifies the means" is a terrible motto to have. You hate these violent, dangerous men? Well then don't copy their behaviour and become them.

Do you have any idea what she means by "actually" in italics? It's very clear that she is responding to someone that is probably trolling her, but I don't know they are.

I actually understand 99% of her references, but that's one I can't place.

"Men can't be women they biologically aren't women"

"Actually the newest research in neuroscience shows that some men have a woman brain and are actually women born in the wrong body"

That type of thing. You know, mansplainers

It may actually turn some folks onto JKR and other middling voices. You really cannot defend JKR's words as literal hate speech when Lily Cade's blog exists.

Oh, great. Just what we need. She's not a feminist, but this will inevitably be associated with us.

We should all forcefully condemn these statements. Violence is wrong. Trans people are fellow human beings worthy of the same rights and protections as anyone else, no more but also no less.
