The main gist of the conversation is great, none of the female characters are really obviously or stereotypically female. A lot of people assume Bluey is a boy because she's the main character, she's blue, and she's not overly girly. It's really an excellent show, even if it is made for preschoolers.

I just found it interesting that the OP admitted to being a TIF in the thread of the downvoted comment, and she said she's more sensitive to the topic than she thought.

“Op is a TID” in your title made me wonder if it meant “Trans Identified Dick” 😄

Bluey is my daughters favorite show. I love that Bluey is a girl and she and her sister do a lot of really cool stuff.

Bluey is great. It's the most real depiction of parenting toddlers that I've seen, probably ever. I watch it with my husband even when my daughters are asleep lmao

I don’t have kids and my friends’/relatives’ kids are out of the age range for the show but I took a look and the designs are absolutely adorable.

I've never watched the show as it came a few years too late for my children, but I thought the character's name was a reference to the breed of dog.

OMG. I've only seen a few episodes of Bluey, but I totally assumed Bluey was a boy. Always had the sound off, so was going off visuals and subtitles alone. I thought it seemed like a good kids' show in any case, but now I'm very impressed.
