Good to see some mainstream coverage of this kind of story. Too bad the AP buried it at the bottom of the Business section. Business?!? Also, the article plays up how small and provincial the school district is, I guess so that we'll understand that the district was wrong to discipline the teachers involved and disband the club. And the writer takes at face value the ACLU's statement about student privacy rights; I'm curious to know what law gives students under 18 the right to hide school records from their parents.
