I was watching television and saw an ad for an HIV medication Dovato. While our medications are far better than what we had in the 80's and 90's, there was a Big Pharma feeling to the ad.

They rattled off the side effects as required by law. One side effect is that you can build up too much lactic acid in your blood. Which can lead to death. Another is that that same lactic acid can harm your liver. Which can lead to death. "Oh, you will almost certainly die of something else besides AIDS!"

Another big complication is worsening of any hepatitis infection. HBV actually mutates and becomes treatment-resistant.

There are vaccines for all 3 forms of hepatitis. It is strongly recommended that at risk populations, especially men who have sex with men, get them. But you have to dig for that information. You just don't see the big awareness campaigns that you could. Ten years ago briefly you did, but ten years is virtually "never before" to a 20 year old. I've never seen a billboard or television ad or anything. Only ads for meds AFTER you get it. I really view it as sneaky, to advertise these heavy-duty medications but not mention that there's a vaccine regimen for HBV. Considering gay men are at very high risk for both HIV and HBV, which have contra-indicated medications, you'd think major LGBTQ organizations would demand awareness for that. Instead of demanding free phalloplasties and breast implants, why not put pressure on workplaces to make the HBV vaccine free to all employees? Seeing as it can be up to $700 Why not buy ad space to make everyone aware that HBV is out there, but they can vaccinate against it?

Because a cocktail of meds is more profitable than a vaccine, we can't rely on Big Pharma to go on an awareness campaign themselves. That's where informed activists could save lives. Stonewall and GLAAD are sitting on heaps of money, and this is a fairly simple problem to address.

Lesbians have been blessed to not have the same medical dangers as gay men. But Big Pharma has corrected this problem by spreading social contagion to trans out any butch woman or girl ASAP. Lesbian contributions to LGBTQ history have been bleached out. I barely see grudging references to Stormé DeLarverie. Look at this passive aggressive Wikipedia intro:

Stormé DeLarverie was an American woman known as the butch lesbian whose scuffle with police was, according to Stormé and many eyewitnesses, the spark that ignited the Stonewall uprising, spurring the crowd to action.

Their spaces and setups have been closed down in rapid succession. Their words have been appropriated with everything else. They've been vilified as the problem child of the LGBTQ community. The message is clear: lesbians were only ever meant to make the tea in activism. And be broodmares at times. They were supposed to do the heavy lifting and grunt work, but not expect to be equal beneficiaries. On top of that, they are developing artificial health problems because of mass targeting by the trans cult. Lesbians should not be at increased risk for ANYTHING by virtue of being lesbians. But if you could look at the data of how many are at least micro-dosing T, you'd see some new stats you wouldn't have in the 80's.

Besides what's going on in the West, what about LGB people that suffer in silence and fear around the world? They live in nations where you can enjoy a nice vacation, but they face the death penalty by merely existing. Do they deserve anything more than a hashtag?

If any major LGBTQ organization asks me for my donation, I'd rather give them my 2 cents. Resources are pie. Time is pie. Money is pie. Mental energy is pie. It's remarkable that so much LGBTQ activism points in the direction of medical industry profit margins. Some of it, like reproductive technology, I just cannot get behind under any circumstances. But life-saving vaccines? Preventative measures? Restoration of accurate history? Revival of spaces and culture? Reaching out around the world, even in VERY unfriendly countries? Think of all the good that could be done, especially with the amount of money and clout LGBTQ organizations have. All that opportunity, squandered.

Gay liberation was supposed to be worldwide, not just another perk of being a white Westerner.

TRAs need to answer for their robbery. They've produced no positives for society. They haven't even produced anything neutral. It's 100% harm, especially to the LGB people they expected to uplift them.

For every lesbian that develops early dementia from a radical hysterectomy, I hold TRAs at fault. For every 25 year old gay guy who can't treat his chronic HBV because he also has HIV, I hold TRAs at fault. For all the misinformation straight conservatives are acquiring about LGB people, I hold TRAs at fault. For all the LGB people in dangerous countries that can only hope to leave, I hold TRAs at fault.

TRAs hogged resources for their bullshit.

They are thieves.

I just don't get it. There was so MUCH to be done after gay marriage was won in some Western nations. Literally anything would have been a good target, hell, lesbians are women and women's rights are still barely a thing. 2% of rapes ever get investigated. All this money could have done soooooooo much good in the world.

And they decided they'd use this money to destroy women's rights, women's safety, women's dignity, child rape safeguarding. They used the money to destroy hundred thousands, maybe millions, of healthy bodies forever. Traumatize millions forever.

I really hope they will pay for this, but history tells me they won't. Not the surgeons and the stonewall people anyway. Now the TIMs with their mutilated body and their forever single life because no woman wants to go near that, they will suffer. So will the women with chronic pain, early onset dementia. But i fear the ones most responsible will walk, and will have made a lot of money, to add insult to injury.
