I feel like honorable mention should go to whoever burned down the Pornhub CEO and co-founder's mansion. (One of his mansions.)

There’s a theory on here that he might’ve burned it down himself for the insurance money. He was trying to sell it the week before.

If someone else burned it out of anger for him, may the Terf Goddess bless them! 🥰

Btw, she has a petition going to shut down Pornhub (2 million signatures, and counting)

Shutting down Pornhub won't stop the proliferation of porn and it's normalisation in society. There are dozens of mainstream sites accessible via search engines, ready to claim PH's web traffic. Not to mention that the most hard-core, exclusive videos are shared via P2P, downloads, and imageboards.

So we should just leave Pornhub up and let CEO Feras Antoon and COO David Tassillo go about their lives making millions on the exploitation of women and children?

ETA: for what it's worth, I agree that more needs to be done. We need to get rid of porn as an entire concept. Porn and prostitution need to be eradicated worldwide.

Inflicting retribution on two figurheads doesn't prevent the exploitation of women for profit, when we continue to operate in a patriarchal capitalist society. They'll simply be replaced by other millionaire CEOs of Tube sites; of which there are many, not including the owners of darkwebsites and private trackers. We need to acknowledge when certain forms of activism/policies are ineffective and futile - a petition won't work or address the root cause.

It doesn't actually help when people pretend only pornhub does bad things.

We need actual legislation, not distractions.

Hopefully this actually does set some sort of precedent.

Yes but she has established a principal here. Master card won’t work with sites that won’t verify the age and consent of its participants. That is a huge win. We have to take them down one by one but that is what we will do.

You’re right, but it’s raising awareness and keeping the issue in people’s consciousness.

Thank god.

I love how this whole thing has cast a microscope on the porn industry in general, too.

How many whiny twenty years old middle class white girls are calling her a SWERF because they fear losing their 30$ a month from OF ?

And how many "feminist men" are throwing abuse at year ?
