I didn't realize people still used facsimile machines. I really love calling them that, btw. I'm glad part of health care is moving into the 21st century.

At first I thought this was going to be about updated screening guides to prevent excessive false positives and unnecessary surgical procedures that make pap results much more difficult to obtain and read correctly in the future. But this is still good news!

I laughed a bit at this because two of my healthcare clinics (ophthalmologist and cervical screening) had to send referrals by fax because their computer systems keep breaking down.

I thought so too when I clicked on it, but apparently fax machines were the outdated method within their programs.

Just having women understand what’s going on and safely is worth the discussion.

The woman discussed in that article is indigenous, and the indigenous are at the forefront of who the program is addressing.
