World Rugby has set new guidelines which recommend against transwomen playing at the elite and international level, given the size and strength differences and the evidence that it poses a significantly increased risk of injury. Sorry to be a party pooper but the lower levels where the majority of woman play are not protected. I am hoping the lower levels will be encouraged to be female only by this ruling but that is the best we can hope for at the moment.
