Turn out was nice. 11 of us. I wasn't the only lesbian for once. A conversation about tims came up and I was surprised some of them said they think many are faking!

Some started the blah blah twaw, but we changed the subject. They brought up goldstar lesbians and I just lmao. It's so true only non lesbians are offended. They asked me what I thought and I said I'm gold star, so what? I explained that growing up it wasn't an insult, but they wouldn't believe me.

One of the girls who's nonbinary, demisexual, two-spirit, pan+ (not even exaggerating) this chick names off this huge list. The other lesbian asked wtf does all that mean and she said she's only attracted to minds ๐Ÿ™„ Purple hair. Of course.

The only attracted to "minds" chick was sitting there practically naked. She said she was disappointed that lesbians only wanted sex from her like men. Uhh yeah. We don't want to sit around and just talk about feelings with you.

Walp, had fun regardless.

That's awesome. My city has a few "queer women" meetups I've been afraid to join because 1. I hate queer/woke stuff and 2. I worry about being in an all around uncomfortable situation, but I guess it seems that normal lesbians join these too? After reading this post, I feel I should at least try.

About the gold star discussion... I'm a gold star and I don't exactly feel pride about it, but rather I just kind of feel glad and lucky about it if that makes sense? I didn't grow up in the best environment.

I think most non-gold stars just usually feel happy for gold star lesbians for not having to go through that shitty experience as far as I've seen.

I recommend giving it a try! I've met two cool lesbians through these groups.
