is anyone else sick of hearing the misinformation about this thing?

the new pinhead is advertised everywhere as a woman, this is triggering troglodytes moaning about feminism and always having to ruin everything with a woman.

its a TIM and frankly it looks like one even with the make up.

I am so sick of the blatant misinformation Hellraiser throws us under the bus twice, once by not giving a female actress the role and again by making misogynists think women have "ruined" the film.

Cenobites are meant to be androgynous in the book neither male or female so if they really wanted to be accurate they should have got NBs who'd had nullification surgery. not a bloke who's had some surgery (??? I have no idea) to make him look like a woman, thats not androgynous.

I honestly don't know what he looks like under the make up but to me the make up is a mans body (you can see from his shoulders etc) with a well actually I'd say a childlike or doll like face actually.

Interesting. I think I read the novella in high school during a horror literature phase and can't recall much about it and am unfamiliar with the differences between the films and source material.

Is the female cenobite a film original character or from the novella?
