That was quick thinking on Paul's part to go to the bathroom to get his phone and call.

https://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/article/Paul-Pelosi-s-secret-911-call-and-an-alert-17543724.php

I'd like to know what tipped off the 911 dispatcher that something was very, very wrong. I would think that high profile people like the Pelosis would have some kind of flags on their addresses/numbers in local 911 systems and that would be a huge tipoff for cops to haul ass when an intruder's in the house.

The first version of the story had the housekeeper calling the cops because she heard noises and didn't know Paul had company.

A later version of the story has Paul going into the bathroom, where he was supposedly charging his phone at 2:30am, to call the police himself. This version makes no sense for several reasons. The police were called out for a welfare check. Did he call in the welfare check on himself? When? In the police audio, the cop reports that Paul told him that man there was his "friend" named "David" and that he (didn't want them to come out, but rather) just wanted to wait for his wife to get home. If you have an intruder in your home, you wouldn't downplay the situation to such a degree that the cops might not even respond. And you definitely wouldn't do that if you're trying to get the cops to show up. Also: What attacker allows his victim to take a bathroom break? Paul and David were both in their underwear struggling over a hammer when the cops did arrived, let in by a 3rd person, who is not identified. And David only hit Paul with the hammer after the cops were there. Why did the cops allow Paul to be attacked? Both men were taken to the same hospital. David's injuries have no been revealed. There is no mugshot. No footage has been released. And David was not charged with breaking and entering, despite being charged with about six offenses.

The underwear thing, according to reliable sources, is a lie. In fact the entire rigmarole you have there is pure right-wing Pelosi-hatred.

I'm gonna point to this story next time idiot leftists say that its totally valid to "protest" in front of the private homes of public officials. I hope everyone who cheered on sending angry mobs to Clarence Thomas' house is rethinking that stance now

I think it's wrong to protest in front of private homes, whether they're public officials or doctors who work at clinics that provide abortion or tech CEOs or whatever the situation is. Private homes are private. Other people usually live nearby, and protests are disruptive to people who aren't involved in the central issue and just want some peace and quiet. Keep the protests to public areas where people might be expected to assemble. Yes, I'm aware U.S. legal precedent doesn't agree with me.

Well, now that one of these angry psychos targeted a prominent Democrat and nearly killed her husband, maybe leftists will stop celebrating angry mobs gathering on people's front lawns

The guy was a Canadian nude rights activist living in a house in Berkeley (with his polygamous lover) that had a BLM sign and Pride flag out front and which the neighbors referred to as "the hippie house". His blog was dormant from 2007 until the week of Paul Pelosi's DUI, when it was flooded with "right wing" posts, in complete conflict with the previous content and his established politics. His social media was shut down before the press release. Both men were discovered in their underwear at 2:30am, both holding onto a hammer, that had apparently been used to break one of the windows from the inside. Paul told the police he was his "friend". The Pelosi house is in a gated community with private security and numerous guard dogs. The cops were called by the housekeeper. The guy didn't hit Pelosi with the hammer until after the police arrived...and saw them standing there in their underwear, both holding the hammer.

Not sure where you are finding any of this, but it is twisting little bits of fact. The guy's social media was full of QAnon and election conspiracies. Paul called him "friend" while the line was open to 911, something you'd do to try to placate someone. He didn't tell the police they were friends. And a lot of men sleep in their underwear.

Do you think this was some kind of "false flag"? You sound like an Alex Jones follower, not someone I'd expect to see on Ovarit.

His personal background is covered here: https://michaelshellenberger.substack.com/p/pelosi-attack-suspect-was-a-psychotic

The audio of the police calling the incident in: https://twitter.com/kylenabecker/status/1586191001655222272?s=20

The metadata reveals the "right wing" posts on his previously 15 years dormant blog were all made beginning the week of Paul's DUI.

There are photos showing the window was broken from the inside. And the initial reports, which have been (partially to largely) scrubbed in the US but are still up in UK papers noting statements from the police that both men were in their underwear, both holding the hammer, when the cops arrived, and that David didn't hit him until they were present.

Also, of course, the official/cover story makes absolutely no sense.

The only conspiracy theory is the lie that this far-left hooker who wasn't even charged with breaking and entering was there with any intent to kill Nancy. The gay bars closed at 2am. The wellness check came at 2:30am. Who stops a hammer bashing to let their victim go to the bathroom to make a call? If Paul felt he was in danger, why would he have downplayed the situation by telling the cops David was a "friend" and he just wanted to wait until his wife got home? But you believe whatever you want to, even if it makes absolutely no sense and is contradicted by all available evidence.

I'm getting my information from reporters who actually use primary sources like police recordings, public records and talking to the neighbors, not Nancy Pelosi's PR crisis management team.

Whoa. What's the source for all that? Interesting stuff...

Doesn't change the central thing here, though: Male violence, with what seems to be an intended female target (until proven otherwise).

All that shit is weird. But it doesn't contradict what I said. LOL

lol

The whole thing is bizarre. And those are just the bits we know.

The suspect planned to break Nancy's kneecaps if she "lied" as a way of showing other members of Congress there were "consequences to their actions."

He supposedly wanted to use Nancy to "lure another individual" to him. That other person hasn't been identified publicly in any article I've read. Wouldn't be surprised if that person is also female.

He didn't hit him on the head until the cops showed up, which makes no sense. The audio of the police note Paul referred to him as his "friend". The guy is a nude rights activist from Canada by way of Berkeley. His blog was dormant since 2007 and then a bunch of weird posts 180º from his established politics appeared the same week Paul had his drunk driving arrest. It was never revealed who the passenger in the car with Paul was that night.

Remember when their house got graffitied and no one did it? I always thought that was weird, too. Cameras cost nothing these days; you'd think high-profile people would have their house pretty secure.

And only on the garage door which could be easily repainted, not any of the bricks. Very tidy graffiti. And, yes, the idea that not only would nogoodniks hike all the way up there, somehow get past the private neighborhood security, six guard dogs, security system and evade detection by her security system and whatever private security guards she has (dispute over whether those are Capitol Police or not…) is laughable.
