Or if you all as admins don't need the money, maybe excess money gets donated to a women or children's cause of some sort? Maybe we can have a poll every month where users vote on a person or organization to donate to.

Word on the street is we will be able to donate soon and I’m looking forward to that since this website has replaced Instagram for me

Awesome, I'm not so keen on Reddit-style awards but I'd still love to donate somehow!

Hopefully we'll have fundraising soon. I'm not sure about awards, but it's something to look into. Many people presume the internet is "free" but it is not. This site is 3x more expensive to run than I expected. Until we're self-sustaining financially we're not going to be a sustainable project.

We're not a tax-exempt entity like a charity is, and we probably never will be, so passing money through us to end up at a different final destination is probably not an efficient plan, though it's a lovely idea.

Would it be possible for you all site admins to set up a community with Locals so we can contribute by subscription? This would be a closed community and members can remain anonymous. The Triggernometry guys are on there so you'd be safe from being kicked off like in other major social media platforms. You don't have to create much content, but it'll be a way for us to set up monthly subscription payments to you under the Ovarit brand? (You''ll have to check if the creator can keep their personal ID undisclosed though. I'm not a creator so I don't know how it works for creators.)

Just set up a way to donate quickly and you can still fine tune or change it later. Some are willing to help you carry the financial burden, let them help you :)

That sentence is scary.

I mean, I wouldn't mind every dollar just going to the site. I feel like just a button to donate won't be enough. It would be cool to have some sort of benefit for the users as an incentive... I don't know what that translates to. There's the award system like Reddit, but if that's not popular then maybe cool flairs or...some other way to sticky other people's posts you like.

I don’t know where the head people are who run this but even if everyone who could donated a dollar or pound or euro or whatever, I’m sure it would all add up right? I was super isolated in my opinions before finding you women and now I know I’m not crazy for disagreeing with all the ideology that is being passed off as human rights.

On Spinster if you make a monthly donation you get a nice badge on your profile. They only thing is my English bank charges me to convert currency which means donating was very expensive so I used Patreon which doesn't charge. I have the same problem with WOLF making direct donations.

I'd be happy to contribute. Even small awards can be useful to small organizations—refuges, help groups, etc.
