3/4 of the women in my immediate family have PCOS and I find it laughable that someone might claim there are therefore more intersex people in my immediate family than women by their definition. Nobody can be serious about that. It's pure nonsense.

That's a large amount. Did they check the men? I think it would be called Stein–Leventhal syndrome in men. Balding, excess hair, cardiovascular problems, insulin problems, obesity I think.

It starts to look like an autoimmunity disease but not sure if it was ever classified as such. That potentially could explain why women with PCOS are 26 to 51% more likely to catch Corona (source: http://blog.verity-pcos.org.uk/2021/03/pcos-and-covid-19-risk-update)
