My awakening… Reads “Kill all terfs”

“What the heck is a terf? These people really seem to hate them!”

“Oh crap…I’m a terf”

I feel like there's a lot of us that got called a terf without knowing what it was, then realized how important rad feminism is right now. I'd love to see statistics of the %. I know I had to Google it, then the Magdalen train hit me.

I can personally thank a Jezebel "article" from like 2012 that shit talked TERFs for over a dozen tedious paragraphs. Thanks, Jezebel! You created another one!

Finding Feminist Current after being a Jezebel reader was like stepping into an alternate reality where the writers and commenters were actually intelligent life forms

The first time I encountered the word was when I came across a pic of the creep with the bloodstained 'I kill terfs' t-shirt carrying a spiked baseball bat. (I think it was later included in some kind of sick TRA library installation??)

Immediately peaked. Didn't even need to know what it actually meant, only had to see the male violence on display to know that whoever was using that word as an threatening insult was someone I wanted to be as far away from as possible.

Woman becomes a terf as soon as she figures out what terf means 😹😹

I feel like sending that woman a primer and Magdalen Berns videos. Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride to the peak!

She will stumble upon Ovarit in no time, and she'll be right here with us.

The realization of loss of rights in real time. I remember that feeling. How devastating.

Oh man, I really hope she won't receive hate for not jumping on the terf hate-train. But knowing the internet... x(

when I first encountered it, I took people in good faith who said, "it's just a description of women who do not include transwomen in their feminism," and I was like, "ok, I think that sounds reasonable not to include TW in feminism, that's me, that's cool." LOL, no idea I was supposed to find that insulting.

It’s really not, to me, personally. When they started me calling one in FB comments section I was very much unmoved. It’s used to keep libfem handmaids in line, bow to the dick. Feminists know penis was always excluded.

Nowadays the meaning is closer to:

Woman who has committed a thought crime.

or

Woman who said something a man did not like.

Any woman can be labelled as a terf regardless of trans-friendly she is. Anytime. Anywhere. All it takes is someone to interpret her speech in a way that they deem negative to their fee-fees.

It really is the new feminazi! I got called a terf for saying that child brides are bad full stop (regardless of societal norms). Never said anything about trans people. Trans people were never even brought up in the discussion.
