She says men are dumb but she’s the one being played

This is the only logical conclusion of choice feminism. It's apparently sHaMinG to even question why 99% of women seem to be making the exact same choices that coincidentally men want them to be making.

I see posts so much saying "ur not a feminist if u shame women who wear make up or shave" like no one's forcing you to not do these things, we simply explain why you feel you have to, and that you don't have to. And then that gets the "feminazi 😡" type responses, or insults about my looks because I must be hideous if I don't do these things 🙄

Ah yes, feminism is when you insult a woman for her looks...

I was about to say... why not stop wearing all that shit and help normalize natural, bare faces?

It’s sad that women spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars each year to look “natural.” What a waste.

I see makeup tutorials and such on my Instagram feed and it's so horrifying and bizarre? Like you really wake up at 4am just to have an hour to do your makeup in time for school which starts at 6:45am. Why? Do they not realize how degrading the societal strangulation is?

Serious question: where do you live so that school starts at 6.45??? I live in the UK and my whole life school has started at 9am.

But yeah it's sad how men can just roll out of bed 15 minutes before work and be ready while a lot of women have to wake up a long time before to do their makeup. And while obviously nobody is forcing them to do that, some employers react negatively if you're not made up. It's depressing.

it's not my school, it's a reel I saw on instagram. I cannot even remember what time school started back in hs haha

seriously, men's unwashed asses should not be normalized while women have to maintain some goddess appearance for no good reason. people just regularly assumed I was a male despite having very obviously female features because I didn't engage in performative femininity or conform to gendered clothing.

It's horrible. My (naturally gorgeous) 12 year old has started waking up extra early so she can go through a convoluted make up & hair straightening routine because she thinks she looks hideous without it

Oh no she's only 12 :( I think if I have children I'm going to do a book reading time where I read andrea dworkin to them lol. I am so terrified for my future children, can't imagine how it feels for current parents

I've always felt strongly that spending the begining of every day hiding your "flaws" isn't healthy.

It’s yet another masochistic, class consciousness destroying ritual that too many women embrace as a fun hobby. Yet they can’t explain why they feel so anxious and shameful if they stop.

I remember one of the Kardashians talking about their natural makeup. The look took 2 hours to do, not to mention the amount of exaggerated plastic surgery they all have. This woman's natural look cost like 20k and a solid chunk out of their day, but at least she was honest about it.

(I do not remember exactly which one it was because they all look the same to me. Presumably because they all share a plastic surgeon)

Just a little warning for anyone who wants to post this on Facebook. I did and got a three-day ban because saying "men are dumb" apparently is hate speech.

[–] Boudicaea 7 points (+7|-0)

The truth is always hate speech when it comes to men, apparently.

Yeah, what they're saying is that they have preferences in how women should look. No fucking kidding. You and every other dude on the planet.

It's like they think if they don't like dark lipstick or something they're giving women some sort of break and are going some extra mile to appreciate them.

Like, one time I saw a quote from some male celebrity in a magazine saying he didn't like made-up women (it was lauded as some great praiseworthy feminist statement) and then he said something like "I like a woman you can take to the beach and throw sand all over her and she still looks great." Well aren't you special. You like women who are naturally extra gorgeous.

I mean women aren't wearing makeup because they're naturally gorgeous and are too self-conscious to let you see their stunning natural faces. They're wearing makeup because they aren't Cheryl Tiegs or whatever.

Imagine how he’d have reacted if she hadn’t been wearing makeup.
