Yep.

Some TRAs sound just like people who push you to accept "Jesus Christ as your personal lord and savior" with the constant proselytizing.

Actually, I would say they are worse.

I once got rid of Jehovah's witnesses by telling them that I don't feel safe letting strange men into the house. They respected that without any kind of attempt to persuade me otherwise!

Now, imagine the tantrum if I had tried that with some TIM who wanted talk to me about accepting his penis as my personal lord and saviour.

Also, the people who push you to convert to their preferred brand of Christianity usually genuinely believe that they are saving your soul by doing so. I can respect that.

TRAs, though ... not even the female handmaidens believe that it will improve a woman's life to kiss TIM boots. They just think we should be "kind", but they can't even promise us anything in exchange for our total submission.

Just saying, if I wanted to submit to males, I would convert to Catholicism, they at least promise you that you will be rewarded in heaven, 100%. Plus, you can get around the unspoken law of having to sexually submit to men by becoming a nun. A nun even has somewhat decent chances of a judge believing her that she did not want to have sex with her rapist! (Rapist priests are still a problem, but genderism has TIMs being sacrosankt, so that evens out.)

With gender religion, the only reward is that men won't murder and rape and beat us up for being terfs (but could of course still murder and rape us for just existing while female), and perhaps we will get some position that a gender critical woman was fired from. But only perhaps. The praise (if any) we get for converting to gender religion will be short-lived, even if we take on a sparkly gender identity. And then there's nothing left but an increased risk of being victimized by the TIMs you now even have to socialize with in your spare time, unlike radfems who only have to deal with them in public women's spaces, which is bad enough. (You could take testosterone and grow a beard to be safer from male violence, but that comes with health downsides, plus, you can do that without joining the gender religion. Passing for male amongst normies would be much safer.)

So, even if I was a religious person and willing to convert ... sorry, most brands of Christianity just offer a much better deal.

I can't. I think it's ridiculous to bother people about your make believe. I don't wander around trying to convert people to Buddhism. I mind my own fucking business. Other people's "souls" and peace of mind are their responsibility as a adults.

Maybe I'm just jaded because of so many homophobic Christians who have tried to "save my soul."

Maybe I'm just jaded because of so many homophobic Christians who have tried to "save my soul."

I understand that. Since I only ever get attempts to convert me from Mormons and Jehovah's witnesses, I am not as jaded.

Do you happen to be from the US?

I'm from Germany, and it's an extreme difference. There are homophobic religious people, but I think the whole madness level is different. Abstinence only sex ed and Creationism taught at schools are not a thing here. I went to two religious schools, and the only thing I noticed was that they required you to go to church on some schooldays. I was never told off for speaking my mind in religion lessons (I mean, I never said I didn't believe, as I felt that would be rude, but I did ask inconvenient questions about the Bible's logic.)

So my default assumption is that the average religious person really believes in this whole soul thing and means well.

I can see how experiencing the stuff I read about in American media would cause a rather different attitude ...

(Gender religion, though? It is not as bad here in the general population as it is elsewhere, but I was pretty much done with it after an alleged feminist tried to tell me that traumatized women who didn't want penis in their room at the women's shelter ought to "unlearn their transphobia". I had NEVER witnessed that kind of cruelty and lack of compassion from a follower of the Christian religion. I know Christians do horrible things elsewhere, but ... just never was there to personally witness someone having that kind of attitude.)

Thats exactly how I feel. Theres no reward, nothing, on offer from the trans cult. Id take the Catholic or Anglican branches of Christianity over that any day.

I am invalidated and erased every time someone insists I have a gender, who do I report this offense to?!!!
