To be fair a couple years back that aesthetic was back in fashion. I still had them from the first time round so thought it was a little ironic πŸ˜‚

I too saw them come back for a brief stint. It's just one of those things that only seem appropriate for young teenage girls or women in their very early twenties about to go out for a girls' night out or something. 🀣 And of all the myriads of accessories, this is the one that is frequently used by the AGPs. It's odd. Or weird. Or both.

It's an odd choice for sure, though admit they are quick to wear and no fiddling with a clasp. I don't think the ease of wear is why they are popular with that crowd though, I can't help but think it's more to do with the fact they are called chokers...

Yes, we see the practicality of them and find them interesting because they are braided and therefore adorn the neck beautifully, but they absolutely see the rape fantasies that they had when they observed girls wearing these. 🀒
