All of my research has not pointed to any one cause, and that's confusing. it's not making sense to me and it feels like it can't be real that men today have 50% less testosterone than men two or three generations ago. Is this an overblown problem? I really don't see how this is possible. If it was an environmental cause wouldn't we be seeing hormonal disturbances in women's bodies too? I have not heard anything about that, but given how little interest medicine takes in women's bodies, it wouldn't be surprising if no one's done any research.

So far I've seen people blame soy, feminism, birth control pills in the water, and some combination of that. But no concrete explanation and no solution. Anybody have any idea what's really going on?

There are two things we know, many microplastics mimic estrogen in the body, and microplastics are everywhere.

I also think in the US at least all the hormones and fake shit they pump into the food isn’t helping either. I thought that was 100% the source of things like this until I saw the studies that link microplastics and estrogen.

We’re fucked.

such a large issue, people are ignoring it
