All of my research has not pointed to any one cause, and that's confusing. it's not making sense to me and it feels like it can't be real that men today have 50% less testosterone than men two or three generations ago. Is this an overblown problem? I really don't see how this is possible. If it was an environmental cause wouldn't we be seeing hormonal disturbances in women's bodies too? I have not heard anything about that, but given how little interest medicine takes in women's bodies, it wouldn't be surprising if no one's done any research.

So far I've seen people blame soy, feminism, birth control pills in the water, and some combination of that. But no concrete explanation and no solution. Anybody have any idea what's really going on?

I don't get why lower testosterone levels should be a positive?

Wow, you haven't read a lot, have you? T builds muscles, causing greater male than female strength, fuels male rage and aggression, dominance, etc. Women need it about as much as they need to be hit by a truck. The stuff is poison.

I dont think it's necessary to denigrate people for asking questions, and i dont think it was even a particularly bad question. Women also need testosterone and it's not uncommon for women to take it, especially in meno.
