I have been a big wrestling fan since I was a child and I decided to follow some of my favorite female wrestlers on Instagram, I was strolling through Mickie James' insta and saw the highlights from the match. As soon as I saw her opponent, something told me to look deeper into them. And come to find out it is a TIM that she was fighting. He goes by the name Giselle Shaw and it trips me out that he is not fighting the men but the women.

Any thoughts on this?

I don’t know much about WWE, but I believe it’s scripted entertainment?

Like no women will actually be hurt in a true competition

I am definitely more concerned for injury when women fight men in MMA. And it’s an unfair match when there is an actual prize, like Laural Hubbard takin opportunities away from actual women in the Olympics

It still sends the wrong message. Men should not be allowed in Women’s sports

This is correct, and honestly a woman may be safer with a TIM than with another woman. A TIM is larger and stronger and more able to safely catch her if she jumps onto him from the top rope, and more able to safely guide her to a safe landing if he's going to be slamming her.

The real problem is that it's a man taking up one of the few limited spots available for women, and supports the idea that it's OK for men to be in women's sports.

BTW this is not in WWE, this is some smaller minor league wrestling show. Smaller shows seem to embrace trans ideology, and the Reddit site for pro wrestling is completely anti-women and will ban anyone for saying men shouldn't be in the women's division.

Fortunately, WWE itself doesn't do this kind of nonsense. They have occasionally had smaller men dress up in drag and do a high pitched voice and do this as a complete joke, which leads to one on the stronger women beating him up to the approval of the crowd, but it's been years since they've done it and probably never will again because why bother risking complaints from TIMs.

They can mock us but we can’t mock their mockery

Why are we not surprised?
