On one of the episodes last season she went to a princess party and hated it, and Tina reassured her that it was ok for a girl to not like princess stuff. Apparently her not liking princess stuff though now means she isn't really a girl at all and she has an ambigous gender. Oh and Gene does too. I know this is just a tv show...but It is just becoming more and more clear...according to TRAs girls must love femininity.

Honestly when I watched that episode I took it as kind of terfy considering the climate it was written it. There’s a tiny part of me that has hope there’s a gc writer on that show.

I’m always waiting for them to fuck up Gene, but they haven’t yet so. Tiny hope

Gene cracks me up! I seriously doubt they will make him trans, and that episode was very much GC. It honestly angers me that TRAs seem to think that any girl that doesn't like princesses or fairies is really a trans boy. Leave kids alone you ghouls!

There have been a few things here and there that are gender critical verging on terfy, I think if they were going to bow to pressure they would have done so by now.

Fuck no. Louise was grateful for Tina’s advise in that episode. In my opinion, Louise doesn’t have time for the gender bullshit anymore than she has time for fairies and princesses lol

I have been vaguely worried about them trying to trans Gene though. His gender non-conformity is such a fun part of his character!

Exactly! Ever notice TRAs can't seem to leave any fictional or real life "tomboy" alone?

Abso. Fucking. Lutely. Not.

Louise would laugh her ass off at the suggestion.

I loved that episode for its stance that girls don't have to like that stuff. Louise is a treasure. She's also the only person in the family played by a woman... it's almost like TRAs don't like women!

As much as I like the show, it bothers me that most of the female characters are voiced by men. I get that its supposed to be a gag. But it sometimes feels like they're edging out female VAs on purpose (even though I'm sure that's not their intention)

Shouldn’t Tina be trans as she is voiced by a man? 🤔 I think the show takes pride in defying stereotypes, I don’t see them participating in trans stuff myself.

When that episode first aired, I was SOOO worried that they'd attach a trans angle to it. And I was relieved when the final message was just "girls shouldn't be pigeon-holed into liking/hating particular things". But of course TRA basement dwellers have to ruin it
