I don't think we've ever had a discussion about this show on Ovarit. I love it; it's probably one of my favorite shows ever. Julia Louis-Dreyfus plays the first female Vice President and the show is about her and her staff.

I love how the show explores the specific difficulties Selena faces as a female politician and later in the series, there is actually some really good stuff about the generational divide among women.

The first time I watched it I had more sympathy for the staff. I thought they were all being held back by how terrible Selena is, but on re-watch I realized that, no, they're all terrible in their own ways. They all deserved each other. Except Gary. Poor, poor Gary.

I can't tell you how many times I've used the line, "If men got pregnant, you could get an abortion at the ATM."

This show is phenomenal, the writing is just so top notch. It's comedy but it doesn't why away from issues, even of it handles them in a funny manner. I also loved that everyone was so awful, because that's how I imagine people in those positions at Ron the inside. All the things they don't day out loud but think inside their minds it was like watching that with Beep. Everything aired out, and of course it was funny as all hell.
