Thanks bro, now if only we could get some white people to pretend to be black to end racism once and for all.

In a white-dominated race hierarchy, where it is assumed that white people are better than black people and that white stereotypes are superior to black stereotypes, there is no greater threat than the existence of trans racial blacks, who despite being born white and inheriting white privilege "choose" to be black instead.

By embracing our own blackness and black stereotypes, we, in a sense, cast a shadow of doubt over the supposed supremacy of whiteness and white stereotypes.

Oh yeah, nothing says “smash the patriarchy” like men destroying women’s spaces and women’s rights. Which is what all trans women are.

For trans awareness week

Just how many trans awareness weeks are there at this point? I could have sworn we've already had one or two earlier in the year.

I thought the same thing when a TRA friend posted about it earlier today; wasn’t The whole month of October some kind of look at the 1% of men who’ve grown breasts and wear hooker clothes to school!? Enough with those fuckers already!

Ah yes, because men do everything better than women -- including be women!

Well they can “choose” to live in delusion, but they can never become female. They are a poor, male imitation of women, a performance, a charade.

Frankly, nothing upholds patriarchy the way this sick movement does. Men can trample the safety and dignity of women, demand subservience to their feelings at the expense of reality. What could be more patriarchal than a movement that permits men to define womanhood by way of their feelings yet forbids women from defining womanhood by way of their own physical reality?

Chef’s kiss!!

Ah yes, the old “smash the patriarchy by saying there’s not really a patriarchy” trick. I guess it’s to be expected from the “a woman is anyone who says they’re a woman” crowd.

This guy has been sniffing his own farts so long he thinks he's getting high, but it's just his brain dying from lack of oxygen.

It would have a chance of being true IF anyone actually saw them as women, but no one does. The people who validate his existence as a woman do so because they actually see him as a special man. Anyone who treats him with "transmisogyny" is punishing him as a male who has transgressed against the rules of patriarchy and failed to hold his place in society. Both parties see him as male, and they will never perceive him otherwise.

I think that’s probably the best description of serano I’ve read

There is no greater threat to whom? The class of people oppressed by patriarchy to such an extent they’ve now been denied the right to self define and organize around their unique sociopolitical needs? Do they mean those people?

Or do they mean the people who are more than happy to distance themselves from feminine men if it means they give up nothing they already have aplenty.

I read this book a few months ago (there was a post about it in books here or something like that). I would recommend for a good laugh, actually.
