Our goal is to provide a friendly and supportive space for the women of Ovarit. This circle is not a "safe space," but it is and will always be a female-only space. This means if you are not female, you will be banned.
This is a general interest discussion community for women. Women can discuss most topics here. Rants, raves, interesting links, career advice, relationship advice, hobbies, interests, chit chat, pet pics, as long as you're a woman and it's not disallowed below it's all free to go here.
Before posting, please check the list below of other women-only circles to make sure there isn't a community that is dedicated to the topic. Also, please use the feminist circles for feminist topics, such as /o/WomensLiberation and /o/GenderCritical. Posts about male violence belong in /o/NameTheProblem.
If any part of your text / link post is about trans, post it to o/GenderCritical. Trans related image posts go in o/TransLogic or o/Radfemmery.
If you post about trans topics in o/Women your post may be locked and / or deleted. We cannot move posts around.
The Sitewide Rules and Sitewide Guidelines are both enforced here. Thank you for reporting rule violations.
Do not post rants about other users.
Please archive webpages from social media, discussion sites and pay-wall-protected sites before you share them using a webpage archive tool such as https://web.archive.org/ or https://archive.is/
This will help preserve the information that you are sharing and also ensure that everyone has access to read it.
This includes (but is not limited to) content from:
Advertisements for Discord chat rooms or other private groups must be pre-approved by /o/Women moderators before you post. How on earth could this EVER be interpreted as anti-male???
Any time the focus is not on men is actual oppression as far as they’re concerned.
Pregnant crash test dummies were developed in the 90's and there are still no requirements to test cars with them.
Wait... so the options are male dummy or pregnant female dummy??? My god.
Oh no, that's not what I meant. The article didn't mention it and I wanted to add on. Cars are not tested for the average woman nor are they tested for the average pregnant woman.
Okay, first: I really, really love your username!
And yeah, this is more proof that society cares more about the pregnancy than the women who are pregnant.

Caroline Criado Perez could them for plagiarism! They should have least credited her. No way the authors didn’t read Invisible Women.
