I keep getting these nightmares or weird night terrors at night or even if I daydream, the daydream can turn into what I call a day nightmare too.

I’m not sure what I can do about these unpleasant images.

I can’t do CBD, I’ve found that it can make it worse now.

Is this trauma? I think it is, unless it’s something else. Or stress.

It’s just really hard to calm my mind because I live in a high alert/stress state in my current residence

The nightmares might also be partly an attempt by your inner self to push you to get out of this bad place. Mine reduced sharply when I walked away from the situation that was putting me on edge all the time.

That could easily be it.

I’ve felt so stuck for such a long time that I don’t know how to get out of this place or this stage, and I feel like my parents are complacent despite telling me otherwise

I hope you can get un-stuck. Sometimes just changing one thing can open a door.
