Yeah I was the “cool girl” in my teens/twenties. “Didnt care” and encouraged it. I’m in my 30s and it’s a no-go. Same with men who openly like scantily clad images of other women, blatantly stare at other women in public, it’s disrespectful to me and our relationship. Its natural to find other people attractive but rude to do it so openly. Porn is often violent and degrading to women and men that are hyper fixed on it make for shitty sexual partners. Have yet to be with one who was super into porn that didn’t just jackhammer the shit out of me and not worry about my discomfort.

It seems like this sort of trajectory is very common.

It was mine. I started out thinking I was a super kewl girl who didn't care and now it's vile to me.

Ugh. I'm seeing a lot of "I don't want to police his time" and "don't ask, don't tell" and "I'm content to play stupid" in the comments.

The truth will set you free!!!!

Edit: it is sad seeing how many of these people have acquiesced but it is invigorating how many haven't

Didnt they do a study a couple years back on pornography but they had to cancel it because they couldn't find a control group (of men who didn't watch pornography) ?

I think all men watch porn and some men are very good at lying about not watching porn.

Yup. I think the one exception would be the nofap groups, but they're weird in their own way. And virtually all of them are still misogynists. I ran across another weird subgroup about semen retention that's less so, but still...everything is always about their penises.
