Not only is the genital mutilation of girls customary there, it's advertised on social media by hospitals. It's unbelievable how you see a seemingly modern and equipped hospital but their society is still so barbaric it treats women as incubators who need to be mutilated in order to stay numb sex slaves of their husband...

So I was waiting for my mammogram the other day in a hospital in a state of which you mention and literally overhead a woman (because speakerphone) telling another mother what she would need to get a visa for her daughter and so she could go to Kenya and "get the cut done." I was shaken by how brazen it was, mentioned it to the nurse and she confirmed it's very common. You can make it illegal in the states, but it's just an airplane trip away and then suddenly it's culture. They don't have to "embrace" it here, to silently allow it to be done to citizens by turning a blind eye to the loopholes.

That's awful...and things like that happen in my state as well. But, my comment still stands above, it's not Democrats allowing it by any stretch.
