God...this is just so scary...going into early labor is terrifying and dangerous.

It's horrifying that it happens so often, someone needed to make a study of it. This isn't just one or two outlying incidents, but something that effects an entire community. An epidemic caused by police violence. Shiiit

Black children have had a higher infant mortality rate since forever. The police violence is just a tiny piece of the issue. It's horrifying, but it's not as horrifying at the regular, everyday issues. Why do you think the US is the only country in the G7 to not have public healthcare? Well, yes, middle class and ruling class Americans have a distaste for anything other than rabid capitalism, but there's one other thing that the ruling classes just can't bear and that's the thought of blacks getting ANYTHING. The ruling class would rather that no one has access to public healthcare than let just anyone have it. It's the draining the pool syndrome https://www.nytimes.com/2021/02/16/opinion/ezra-klein-podcast-heather-mcghee.html The infant mortality rate for children of black mothers in the US is double that of children of white mothers. Incidentally, the overall infant mortality rate for all US mothers is 6.5 (per 1000 births). The Nordic countries average around 2.5.
