Are you referring to the Metzelder-case with the ten months on parole? Because that verdict was such a joke. And I bet his ex-girlfriend, who reportet his possession of Child-Pornography, will probably end up with a similar punishment.

Yep. They also caught a guy who worked for the police in 2019 who had like two days worth of child porn on his computers. He got eleven months on parole. It's such a joke.

In Metzelders case by a FEMALE judge. It's so enraging, because they actually could give them more, but they don't, because they are already stigmatized "enough" because their paedophilia is now public knowledge.

I just don't get why they won't take it seriously. How many more children raped, until the "justice" system will lock these depraved monsters up? I don't get it. I'll never get it. Lock them all up and throw away the keys, simple as that.

I don't understand it either. These are extremely severe crimes which are indicators of permanently damaged psyche. They can't be rehabilitated. Sex offenders in general are highly likely to reoffend and recidivism rates are underestimates because sexual crimes are unlikely be reported, possessing indecent images of children even less likely. Why does the law dismiss the severity of possessing IIOC?
