I am going to take a break from social media so this will be my last post here for a while (I will be back eventually). I want to focus on my work and hopefully, in the future, I can expand my monthly donations to more charities like Feminists in Struggle (FIST), Nordic Model Now, and Free Hearts, Free Minds.

Before I go and officially start my break. I wanted to collect everyone's perspectives and ask one last question.

It has been crazy having to defend women as being a defined group of people that are autonomous and independent from males.

So if we did not have to spend so much time telling people that we deserve to be recognized and have rights on the basis of our sex...

...if people did not second guess the fundamental truth that women are female

...if this whole trans debate disappeared or never existed

...what feminist goal are you most passionate about?

If you were not distracted by this whole trans thing, what would you be working on?

What is your vision for feminist action in the future?

Abortion for any woman or girl who wants one, apparently, is the hill I'll die on. I didn't know that until recent threads lol.

I care most about helping women to avoid and escape abusive living situations, so both the provision of refuges and more generally anything that stops women from being dependant on abusive men. If I didn't have to worry about gendernonsense, I'd be able to go back to giving my money to existing women's organisations without worrying that it would be redirected to men who wanted to destroy women's rights. I'm not an activist sort by nature, so beyond trying to make it easier for older women to break into my industry by supporting training etc, I'd mostly be donating to other people who knew what they were doing, and I'd spend most of my free time writing comedy novels or something like that.

Making it so women everywhere can be financially independent. So much flows from that one factor.

I'd have universal basic income everywhere if I could but a more manageable stepping stone to that utopia is not having exploitative employment as some people's only option.

Abortion rights and better childcare/support for parents (cough moms cough.)

I feel weird about focussing on things in the states, because obviously there are much bigger women's issues internationally. There is definitely is a history of white people charging into situations we don't understand and making things worse - I don't want to slide into complete cultural relativism or helplessness but I do worry about that dynamic.

I donate to an org providing education for girls in a third world country which feels safe enough. Other than that I stick to things I have personal experience with.

If we can't be paid the same, I think there should be more done to get women in to "traditional" mens jobs that pay well with low education barriers e.g. electrician.

Education, basically.

We are not educating for consent, for liberation, for health, for justice, for fulfilment or for the planet - and we’re reaping what we sow.

My thing is history and I’m working on a project about women you should have heard of.

Something I’m only now become aware of is how many of the institutions of civil society (which my country has been quite rich in, mainly thanks to women) have been taken over by the trans cult. I am really shocked by this and feel we should push back... though I don’t know how.

A break is a good idea. It’s important to refill the well. Will look forward to your return as I enjoy your posts.

If the government wasn’t so determined to erase women, it would make the pandemic lockdown breathable, so to speak.

Feminist action now and in the future involves preventing others from giving away our hard earned rights. We deserve better, not this vile, hostile and downright violent treatment that our governments have sponsored. I wish we had adults in charge.

Reproductive rights - free safe abortion, sterilisation without permission of husband, etc.

Nordic model should be everywhere.

Anti-porn - can't make porn illegal (wouldn't work, just look at drugs), but should be illegal to profit from it.

In my country age of consent is 14, and some politicians are trying to lower it to 12. It should be higher.

Sex education in schools (without gender ideology, obviously).

Mental health awareness.

Communism. Women are the ones most fucked in the capitalist system.

I would love to see women all over the world having a general strike.

Such a worthwhile question, and so many valuable answers. I just wanted to add integrating female people into all sectors of society--we're doing a lot better on this now than we were when I was younger (though I can see this changing, unfortunately)--but, more women in politics, STEM, university departments, law, and everywhere decisions are made about how humans live. And not only just having female people physically present and represented, but having women taken seriously as 'thought leaders' on important issues. Women are still not considered as human as men; although all of the answers to this question address this fact, I want to see women in positions where they are speaking as people, and acting on behalf of people.

The issues of prostitution and sex trafficking are close to my heart. I'd like to see the Nordic model pass everywhere, and for us to condemn or even outlaw the sale of hardcore pornography, too (I'd go all the way and say softcore, and have stringent media requirements surrounding objectification, but I don't want to veer into fascist territory). Instituting the Nordic model and outlawing internet porn due to public health crisis would be amazing.

I'd also like to kickstart the field of transitioning the most abused women in our societies into normal life- healing them from PTSD and C-PTSD, helping change their outlooks and outcomes, helping them have normal relationships if they want them. There's really no roadmap to help survivors who actually make it out of the other end of the wringer alive.

Good luck, OP!

(I'd go all the way and say softcore, and have stringent media requirements surrounding objectification, but I don't want to veer into fascist territory).

It's not fascist to want the objectification of women to end. It needs to stop. Commercials, advertisements, video games, movies, all of it. Women need to stop being depicted as hyper sexual sex objects. Female actresses need to stop being exploited with nude scenes.

I should be able to search for lesbian accounts to follow on Instagram without a bunch of porn accounts coming up. One time I searched for Chucks (the shoes), and a porn account came up that was naked women wearing nothing but Chucks . . . It's everywhere and it's damaging.

All porn is bad because all porn objectifies women, even softcore porn. , This is how men arrived at the conclusion that lesbian sex is for their entertainment. They sit around jacking off to "softcore" lesbian porn, then think it's okay to hop on a dating app and beg random lesbians for threesomes (while pretending to be their girlfriends), or approach lesbians in public asking them to have sex with their gf/wife while they jack off to it . . . And they see nothing wrong with it because women walking around minding our own business are all potential fodder for their porn fantasies.

We were never people to them but now it's worse. If I could achieve one thing for women, I would abolish porn, sex trafficking, sexual harassment, rape, media objectification, just end male perversion altogether by endowing men with brain-shattering empathy.

Having zero empathy is why they do all this evil crap.
